As a kit she was quiet and soft spoken. She enjoyed reading books. She would keep to herself reading fictional books about magic users and all sorts of magical creatures. This jokingly earned her the nickname Merlune,(a pun based on Merlin a famous wizard) the name given by the cruel kids who didn't understand the loner.
What they didn't expect was that she would like the name.
And one day,after being done with their attempted bullying,she would stand up and loudly exclaim
"I'm gonna be a wizard kittys!!!"
(This shocking the bullies) And when she grew up she would continue to shock everyone by teaching herself magic tricks and showing them off to a stunned audience. She went from being quiet to being a loud wizard roleplayer,getting into her acting so much that she dressed the part and acted the part constantly.

She kept up the act up alright. She taught herself how to shoot arrows out of a bow she had bought from a old giftshop. She wanted to have some other talent since she was magic less. She pretended the arrows were magical bullets piercing her foes. Her love for her bow and the katkins that watched her shows turned into a desire to protect them. For now she was entertaining the town but when enemies came she would be ready to lend a paw to defeat them.

So she trained even harder for them. Lune would train all day as soon as the sun came up. Her training involved shooting random targets in different areas. Soon she was able to shoot far and fast. Random katkins would stop by and watch Lune train. Soon a crowd formed near her. Lune silently ignored the strangers being too focused on her task. Suddenly a katkin walked out of the crowd and quietly asked
"Weren't you going to be a wizard Merlune?"
Lune didn't turn to look at the katkin or stop to think how the stranger knew her ill gotten name.
Suddenly she shot her target. Lune hit the target in the middle which caused her to smile proudly and respond
"I already am."
