Dear squids... I really, really want to keep them. q_q However, I shall resist.
So, yeah! They're a cyclops. :0 Their hair usually is in front of their eye. They're really muscular and strong, too. Their paint glows, but doesn't have any power. Without the hair.

Hello there, I am balto., a fellow member of the rpw community as a staff member - having the titles of Artist, Nursery Artist, Growth Artist and Artist Adviser. I am a long-term and older member, and I happen to have 49 rpws of my own, one of which is an unmade ru, and it would be an honor if I could add this muscular one-eyed guy to my little group of strange and unmatching rpws.

For my form, I have decided to give this rpw the name of Janus. Now, Janus is the god of two things - seeing the past, and seeing the future. Now I know that Janus, the god, is two-faced, while the rpw here only has a singular eye. But I feel that why the character I have begun to develop, sense will come soon as to why he was named this, and to do a little lore behind him, as well. He is a straight up male, dmab, no one really thought he should have a gender because of his strange little 'abnormalities', but he takes it in great stride, and so he does with his male pride. He would blame you for mistaking him for anything else, but he usually isn't, thankfully. He is a young adult, that is all that is know, pretty much. Sure, he looks young but the exact age? No one knows, and he surely intends to keep it like this for a while - but he assures everyone he is over 20, but under 30...hmmm. This rpw, then, was born on February 29th...what an unlucky day, don't you think? Well, logically speaking his birthday would only be once every four years! Maybe thats how he celebrates it...

Now, while he is named after the one which has two faces, of the past and the future, Janus seems to have nothing in common, due to the fact that he has one eye and one face. But I still feel that it suits him - for he can see the present. Sure, everyone does, the present is the current day you live in, the moment there and now. But I feel that Janus would have another sense about him - its hard to explain, even for the wolf himself, but he does feel that he is rather strange among others...that he seems to always know something that others dont. While one Janus face, of the god, could look into what happened in the past, and the other could see the events that would happen in the future, what if this Janus could do the same, and his eye could almost be like seeing into the events of the day to happen, good or bad...like a seer, but of course, these sightings do come at a consequence, a loss, and you never know what it may be...you could lose someone you care about, or you could happen to lose yourself into madness.

Janus is a rather interesting individual. Despite having the one eye and being rather muscular, like the ancient dire wolves, he seems to be pretty normal, but intelligent. He has a logical way of thinking that he uses for pretty much anything, being the scientist that he is. He makes experiments and uses all the research that he can to make his words seem as smart as possibly, although having the IQ more the most others, his words turn into rather long and unknown ones, confusing the majority who listen to him. He just doesn't seem to understand how wolves cannot understand the common words he uses, either. He seems to think that all these other wolves had been hiding under a rock for the majority of their life's to not be able to understand a thing that he is saying.
The scientist here is rather loud for his intelligent demeanour, as you don't really expect a scientist to be both intelligent and loud - the two often clash, but Janus seems to be the perfect mix. He doesn't really have an inside voice, or know what it means, and will be as loud as he wants wherever he is, if it be shouting or...well, more shouting, there's really no whisper for this guy. Not even when he gets a sore throat, which is often, he still manages to shout his lungs off in one way or another. This makes others extremely annoyed around him - so they all either have their eardrums burst, or they can just stay a hundred feet away from this guy - he tends to have a lot to talk about, so it's very rarely that anyone will escape the loud wolf trying to talk to them.
Janus, on the other paw, is very quiet about secrets and heritage. He never speaks about these things outside of his research, and even then, you can only get told glimpses. He comes with a mysterious background that no one has seen before - he says that he came from far away when he was only a small pup, not knowing how he came into contact with all these wolves, which only adds to the mystery that's makes him...well, makes him Janus. He only seems to remember a mysterious, glowing stone, to which you can hear him mumble about as he works on an experiment or a blueprint, but apart from that you wouldn't really hear much else about what he's talking about or where this mysterious glowing stone may be, what the place is called, he stays quiet on any clues.
