Before I announce the winner of this bean, I want to tell you all how much of an amazing job all of you did. If I could, I would give her to every one of you. I can't do that though, of course. </3
Judging was virtually impossible. All of you expressed how much you loved her so well, and put so much into the forms.
But in the end, there were three that really stood out to us. Garnet, Spare, and Scourge.
After Garnet's amazing form was eliminated, it was down to two people. Penelope (Scourge) and Spare.
You all put so much effort and work into your forms. I could see just how much effort and love and care both of you put into your forms, and both of you seemed like the perfect owner.
I actually almost started crying at one point. The main reason was that I knew I couldn't vote on both of you, and couldn't give her to both of you. But the thing was, I related to you guys so powerfully.
I remember when I was trying for Vine. Every little thing you guys said was so true to what I had felt when I was trying for him (and still do, of course). I remember how much I wanted him and how heartbroken I knew I would have been if I hadn't won. I know I could never have forgiven myself if I had lost him, and I know that's exactly how you guys feel too. That's what made me so heartbroken.
But the winner had to be chosen, and so it was. I know that who I voted on was only voted on because the personality was just that much more detailed.
And so, the winner, by only ONE vote more, was Spare.
Now before you guys go on about how 'omg! that's so unfair! spare totally copied scourge!' We went over this already. We got so many people involved in this, so many opinions, even got all of the JBD mods to give their opinion. Okay, there may have been a few things inspired by someone else. But everyone does that at sometime, you know you can't deny it. There was no evidence of actual plagerism or theft or anything of the sort. This case has come up way too many times. Please. Don't even mention it.
BUT! Just because Scourge didn't get first place (by the tiniest bit) doesn't mean she shouldn't get anything for her amazingly hard work. Scourge, you will receive the bean from Nursery Batch #42 as a runner-up! Komi gave us special permission to do this since it was so close. I know you'll take good care of her[size=50]ill be watching so youd better
Now, we'll be watching you guys very closely to make sure you take amazing care of them. I expect yyou to be very active on the JBD FC Site, especially the AJAX chat. I'm ob there very often (for now) and am really looking forward to roleplaying Berry with you guys, and watcging how the girls interact with the other beans <33 Please go on there as often as you can!
Also, although I know you will, make sure to follow all the aging/breeding/whatever rules and don't you DARE neglect them! Remember your promise. >3
