Mudkip the axolotl is Ari's best friend! Mudkip was badly taken care of when he was first born, and ended up loosing a limb. Ari found Mudkip in a ziploc bag filled with water that somebody had dumped, and has ever since loved the little guy!

Where this goat was born, he was originally named Evander; greek ευ (eu) meaning "good" and ανηρ (aner) meaning "man" (genitive ανδρος). After he was transported to Japan, he was renamed Yammato; an ancient name for Japan. The individual kanji are 大 meaning "great" and 和 meaning "harmony".

Change can be difficult, to humans, and to goats. When Yammato moved to
Japan, it wasn't easy. Other goats had cream white coats causing him to be
an outcast. He spent a couple of weeks trotting through his new home by himself,
being particularly fond of the small koi pond located near the large, old, peach tree.
It was on one day, where Yammato peacefully chewed on a fallen peach, until he met
a little black and white koi fish. Like him, he was also an outcast. The two bonded
closely; Yammato would dip his muzzle into the water whilst the little koi fish swam
happily around it. When it was time to go back into their pens, Yammato would sometimes
grab a bucket from the milking shed and use it to bring his little friend with him.
After the two became very close, Yammato realised that he hasn't named his friend.
As he was a foreigner, he didn't know many Japanese names, so he named the little koi fish
Boba. This came from a store Yammato saw when he was on a truck still being transported to his new
home.
