West Valley Ponies are rather small ponies that tend to live in colder places as the first WVP was found and caught in Greenland during the winter seasons. The owner of the first WVP began finding and domesticating more of these rare ponies. They can come in all different colours and patterns, along with ranged heights that vary from 12 hands to 14 hands. The news about these ponies spread around the world and a lot of people tried to get their hands on one. However, it was very difficult to buy one of these ponies as they were so rare and the original owner did not want them travelling from country to country. He wanted them to stay in their true home in Greenland. Despite this, he eventually sold a few WVPs' to some equine enthusiast, who began breeding them in countries such as the UK, Canada and many states around the US. West Valley Ponies are now bred and owned all around the world. They are sometimes used in competitions as they have an impressive amount of stamina and speed. But many are simply bred to help bring up the numbers and hopefully they will no longer be endangered in the future.
