SPECIES INFOPUDDING FACTS
◆ Puddings with multiple elements are possible, but are very rare
◆ A group of Puddings is called a Roll
◆ A Roll will commonly have closely related Puddings (the size ranging from 3-30 usually), all of which depend on each other to survive
◆ Puddings are generally quite friendly despite their intimidating size
◆ They seem to have quite the sweet tooth, having a particular fondness for pudding
◆ Puddings have thick and colorful whiskers, more similar that of a Star nosed mole
◆ Baby Puddings call for their parents using a variety of squeaks, chirps, barks, and screams.
◆ Puddings have rather flexible limbs, similar to that of a lizards
PUDDING LIFEA baby Pudding joins the world by hatching from a small egg. About 2-3 eggs are laid by the mother Pudding at a time and placed in a special nest that is watched over by other members of the Roll. After about 2 months the baby Puddings hatch and have a hard shell on the outer part of their bodies, with a soft and squishy underbelly. Helpless and defenseless (apart from rolling up into a ball), the babies spend the first few weeks of their lives clinging to their parents backs, rarely leaving their side until they're big enough to keep up with the rest of the Roll.
◆◆◆◆◆◆Once a Pudding is about 5 years of age, they are a bit more independent and no longer need to stay with their parents 24/7. They are a bit more adventurous at this age and enjoy exploring their surroundings. Puddings of this age are still getting the hang of their elemental powers and commonly have little to no control of them, if they have even been discovered. Due to this, their primary defense is to roll up into a ball and if all else fails, scream for mom.
◆◆◆◆◆◆Teenage Puddings are much more independent than their younger counterparts, normally around this age they have obtained at least some control of their elemental powers. At the teenager stage, Puddings go through a process called "molting" in which their baby shells fall off and are replaced with stronger adult shell plates. Unlike the baby shells, these shells do not cover the whole body of the Pudding and only a few places.
MATES & BREEDING
◆ Puddings mate for life
◆ The female Pudding will lay 2-3 eggs and when the babies hatch they will look like their parents in some way or another
◆ Identical twins or triplets never occur
◆ Pudding breeding info & rolls......
[1d20: if the number is 10 or 20 there are three babies, any other number is twins | 1d6: if the number is even the baby is a girl, if odd the baby is a boy]
------
Complete dominance: The baby will have one of the parents elements, but the potential to pass the other element down to their off spring.
[A fire Pudding and an earth Pudding have a baby and the baby is an earth Pudding. When that 2nd gen. Pudding has a baby there's a chance that baby will be a fire Pudding.]
roll 1d20: if the number is 1-9 the baby's element is completely dominant | roll 1d6: if the number is even the baby has the mom's element, if the number is odd the baby has the dad's element
------
Incomplete dominance: The baby will have a whole new element that is a combination of both of their parents elements
roll 1d20: if the number is 10 or 20 the baby's element is incomplete dominant
------
Co-dominance: The baby will have both parents elements
roll 1d20: if the number is 11-19 the baby will have both parents elements, but not combined together like when incomplete dominance occurs.

PUDDING VARIATONSPRIMARY ELEMENTS
FIRE
Puddings with the Fire element can survive in higher temperatures than their counterparts. In the wild, these Puddings can be found in rocky or hot climates (ex: deserts, etc.) They can grow spines on their shells and have thicker shells than any other element. Out of all of the elements, Fire Puddings have the largest claws which are assumed to be used for digging through rock. Fire Puddings also have pyrokinesis and can breathe fire. However this is primarily used for cooking, light, and helping keep babies warm; rarely used for violence, unless it's for self defense.
------------
common
dark base coat, fur edits, hair edits
uncommon
shell spines, bigger armor like shell scales
rare
light base coat

WATER
Most Puddings with the water element have fins located somewhere on their body and they all have webbed toes. Unique to this element, they have smooth skin like a salamander. They can survive on both land and in water. Water Puddings can live in both fresh and saltwater, both deep and shallow. They do not possess night vision so underwater however some Puddings who come from the deeper parts of the ocean can also produce their own light like some species of jellyfish. Water Puddings also have hydrokinesis and can also produce streams of water from their mouths.
------------
common
light base coat, skin, scales
uncommon
hair, dark base colors, short fur
rare
long fur on body, no aquatic traits (fins)

EARTH
It's pretty easy to identify an Earth Pudding. Majority of them have plants or mushrooms growing on their shells but some even have rocks and gems growing on their shells. Earth Puddings are immune to plant and mushroom toxins so these growths don't have negative effects on their health. If removed or broken off, the growths will simply grow back. Unlike the other elements, the type of growth determines their powers. Puddings that have a rock or gem on their shells, for example, lapis lazuli or diamonds, they can control rocks and...dirt.(Don't mess with these guys rocks don't seem very funny when you're being pelted with them) Those that have mushrooms or plants on their shells can control plants.
------------
common
plant/mushrooms on shell, hair
uncommon
rock/gem on shell
rare
both plant/gem on shell

AIR
Puddings with the Air element are currently the only ones capable growing wings. They usually have feathers growing somewhere on their body, the feathers commonly being down feathers which gives them a fluffy appearance. Air Puddings may also have 'cloud like fur', the fur is soft and light and appears like cotton candy. Air Puddings are also able to fly, even if they do not have wings. The also can control wind and gas with aerokinesis.

common
cloud like fur, hair
uncommon
wings, feathers
rare
wispy tails/hair
SECONDARY ELEMENTS
These elements can only occur in incomplete dominance breedings or customs. They are rare and customs need permission before being made.
