What is your best way to get over art block?
Ah ha ha, the age-old artist's enemy OTL
My best way to get rid of it is to write before I draw owo""
It sounds like a weird method, but think about it. I like to write stories of certain characters of mine, and when I do, it sets a mood, gives a scene emotion, gets everything ready. Then I bring it to life with a picture. Sometimes it's only a little paragraph or something, but it always makes a picture and it always comes out very well. Typically, it breaks art block for me too, because it's inspirational !

owo Welcome to the club Bold!
Those are some neat drawings Aibo uvu I like the WIP of the dog, looks very detailed.
Here's a question for you ;3
Do you prefer to draw humans? Feral? Anthro? Something else?
Personally, I much prefer drawing feral. Humans are too hard so I never do them eme and then anthro is annoying, and I can't get it to look right. OTL
Also, London, I have an idea for the thread. Seeing as we are art addicts, would it be okay to 'challenge' people to draw something/in a specific way?? Like, with the opposite hand that you usually use. It's kind of a silly idea, but I thought it might be fun, and a good chance for club members to practice new things c;

I prefer feral I know the anatomy much better. But I will do humans sometimes. That is if I am in the mood. And if I do I usually make it a lineart for myself. Like I currently have two new human characters drawn out both with the same lines. as for anthro, yeah i can do them. They sometimes work out better than humans
What is your best way to get over art block?
I like sketching to get over art block. Sometimes I will get online and just take out a pencil and notebook then find an image rotater site and just sketch. Or I will listen to random recommended songs on my Youtube.

It's not a silly idea, I quite like it. :3
Would you want to challenge a specific person, or should we have like a weekly challenge that the whole group participates in (or those who want)?
And I reallly need to update the front page, I'll do that asap. ^^"

that's a really good idea ^^ drawing with my opposite hand will look like crap but it's a challenge after all haha. we should try drawing something we've never drawn before.
