I know I love collecting off-brand and fake furbies as well. They're really cute!
I just got a Koby the Interactive Bear in the mail today. He doesn't work, unfortunately, but he's very cute!
I also have a Dubby and two Jabberwockies. I love them all so much, ahh!
If anyone knows where to purchase any fake furbies please tell me! I'm always looking for more cute little friends.

Sadly I haven't been with my furb for a while cause of personal stuff but i should be seeing her in a day or two as soon as i get to her ill be painting her. I might post her and see if you guys have suggestions for her sutomizations. She's plain hot pink, not my favorite fur but I didn't pick her out so hecc.

recently (finally) found a non-working furby I can afford!
best part is the fact it’s completely white- perfect for customizing
to the point, though
I’ve been thinking of trying my hand at making a long furby, does anyone have suggestions on where to buy cheaper/more affordable spines and fabric? mainly the spine- I was thinking of about 5 feet
also! advice on skinning and taking out the mechanical stuff?

@KittyandCat this is the guide I followed when I skinned my first Furby - I found it extremely helpful! Just know that some Furbs have TONS of glue around the faceplate, and it can be a pain to get off until you've gone ahead and gotten just about everything else off, making it pretty much the last step. I had to do that with my boy Skulduggery. Also, the little guys are more durable than they seem to be, so while you DO want to be careful, don't be afraid to kick that glue's butt if you need to. I didn't actually use a knife - I just picked at it with my fingernails. ^o^

@Karkat/Evils - Daww, I love your Furbishes! I've been wanting one for a while now, but I have the same problem as most other people and just can't seem to find them for sane prices. I also strongly envy your brown 2005 - it's a dream Furb of mine! Shelbies are my main thing, though. I'm only missing five! I have the other seven colour variations, not to mention a couple extra ones: I have two of the silver/black ones, like Clayton, and two of the toads!
