That happened with me today with a 200+ Bulbasaur. Was not happy.

oh man!!! Today has been a Day.
so i woke up and was like "dad can u take me to go downtown" and he agreed and we waited an hour for my friend to get home so she could come too and then!!! when we got there, there was SO many pokestops like!! whoa!!!!!! and i was having Sensory Overload trying to get all pokestops and then a dratini popped up and i literally s c r e a m e d in the car bc ive wanted one so badly. i thank w/e god there is that i caught it with just one razzberry and pokeball and it didnt break several pokeballs and run away. phew. i named him noodle bc hes my noodle son?? i mean dragonites got those noodle lookin things on his head so. now i just need to catch like 100 more to get dragonite :")) and then so many more to power him up w e e p s. and i caught a buNCH of pokemon today too, and evolved some lesser ones/trading some for candies, repeat the process and now im almost lvl 12!!! i wish i could do that everyday tbh bc wow that was fun. i need to find a group of friends who will do that w me but all my friends (online) live nowhere near me even if two live in my state.

I'm also level 21 for anyone wondering, and after 20 the exp required shoots way up so I may be here for a while XD 50k for 21 and 75k for 22.

I see some are getting Drowzees like no tomorrow and some see none, but what about Jynx? I keep finding tons of them even though they're supposedly rare, does this happen to anyone else? Also Tauros appears quite a bit for being rare, as well as Onix who always appears in the same spot in a popular park. Yet Doduos elude me, curse you Wisconsin and your lack of deserts. Atleast fire/ground/rock pokemon seen to spawn on beaches and we have some of those, we'll(me and my sister both play) probably try a nice big one next week. We've been driving all around since it launched and we think we've got the best places picked out(and some nice restaurants nearby ;3), one is less than 10 minutes away and 20-40 people can easily be seen in the park/small downtown area playing pokemon go and lures are a given(plus discounts at the ice cream store if you show the app!) and 2 of them have trolly loops that are great for catching pokemon because they're cheap, go slow+make frequent stops, and pass tons of pokestops. We're also taking a trip to Madison later this month for a furry bowling meet-up and apparently they have a lot of pokemon and a strong Valor presence! I'm so happy I wasn't scheduled to work that weekend, it's going to be so fun!

I'm really happy with how this game turned out, I was worried at first that it was just going to be a lot of rich kids, but it's mostly adults me and my sisters age who grew up with the indigo league and red/blue playing it. Not to say we don't get the occassional kid(or older person), but 90% of the time they're 18-25. Which is also nice because the parks are busiest 7:30-10:00 pm and kinds really shouldn't be wandering around a park at that time of night.

I am cursed with drowzees and jinx as well. There is a block downtown with 8 pokestops, and at one cluster of 3, I can usually catch a jinx or 3 lol I have seen 20, caught 19.. but Drowzee..




We are going back to the college town nearby tomorrow to hit 2 parks that have 10 pokestops each.. got good pokemon at one, nothing in the other but we stocked up on poke balls (I had over 200.. now I have like 70 so I feel like I need more lol)

I went walking and i went way father than i thought o.o i literally walked 30 something minutes away from home [i was with someone though] and i caught a seel, 2 koffings, a pikachu, and i saw 1000s of bats flying out of a bat house at night, snapping turtles, and alligators at a beautiful lake with 2 pokestops that seem to always have lures, and 2 gyms, [which i an gym leader of one of them c:] also i found a pikachu nest! I saw at least 5 in one spot earlier, but i couldnt go that far :c
