Hello, all! I wanted to share some art I've done recently of Otus, my spring legendary RU made by Park, as well as introduce him because I realize I never did <3
Basically he's the stern old guardian of a fortress at the northern edge of my character world, and I love him very much

first of all, i'm just here to post some readoptions i've got under way here c:

secondly, i wanted to answer these questions!

- what's your viscet's favorite object? (ex, a stuffed animal or family heirloom)

- Kai has a beautiful pink scarf that he found on the beach one day. he loves the way it flows gracefully in the water while he swims

- Jesse has a gas mask from his old job as a chemist-- though he doesn't need it now, he still keeps it on display to remind himself of his past life.

- Keon carries around a cute little calico cat stuffy-- it used to belong to his daughter, before she was taken away from him.

- Taisha also carries around a little stuffed animal. she has separation anxiety with it, and it's the only thing to keep her calm while she's in social situations.

- are your viscets primarily feral or anthro? how does this affect them?

in their mainverse, they are rather feral still, though they are growing more and more sentient as time passes. long story short, there are various factions that are more sentient than others-- Experiment Zero "Jack" runs one of the larger factions, wanting nothing more than to overthrow humans and rule their world (Auwei) under a strict dictatorship. in various au's they are anthro, however you could skew this as later in the mainverse timeline, wherein humans have been wiped out entirely and Viscets have evolved to live in human cities and the like.

- which of your viscets has the largest family? do they like being a part of it?

Jesse most definitely has the largest family, with his mate and army of adopted children. currently, if memory serves correct, Jesse and his mate Sebastian have six adopted pps children!

- which of your viscets is the strongest? not necessarily in strength alone, but in magic, courage, etc.?

honestly, out of all of them, probably Miervaldis Ma'at. not only is he incredibly strong physically, but his emotional and mental strength is out of bounds-- he can't recall the last time he has felt sad, or angry, or distressed. he can't remember the last time he has felt stress, and it's because he has his meditation and family to fall back on when he needs it.

- describe the backstory of the viscet you own with the saddest or most angsty backstory

oh lord, alright. there are quite a few with very tragic backstories, but Fell is by far the most tragic. long story short (otherwise we'd be here for ages), he was exploring an abandoned manor as a young teen with the love of his life and best friend. she was a little more confident than he was, and when they'd stumbled upon a portal, she was the first one to enter it. Fell had lingered just a moment too long, as just when he was about to enter it as well, the portal closed, and his soulmate was ripped from him. Fell never stopped loving her, never stopped missing her, and never stopped searching for her-- but he continued on with his life, as he knew she would want him to do. he became a doctor, and though he finds it difficult every day he goes to work, he wouldn't change it for the world. he's helping people, and he knows that she would be proud.

- describe the backstory of the viscet you own with the happiest backstory

honestly? probably Phineas LOL he got everything he ever dreamed of, despite growing up with hardships galore. he never lost hope. although he is a bit greedy and narcissistic, he is definitely happy and is joyful every day he wakes up in the morning

- which of your viscets sleeps in a really weird position and what is it?

does Jesse sleeping on the bottom of a dog pile of his children count?

- do any of your viscets have unrequited love? how do they feel about it?

none at all! all are either happily mated, or happily/not so happily single c:

- do they have pets? do they want pets?

Kai has a "pet" who he prefers to call his best friend. Ohana is a jellyfish that saved him when he was younger, and he's traveled with the jelly ever since

Hey guyss, haven't been up to that much lately, so haven't been posting. I am working on a biggish viscet story, though! I'm really excited for that. cx I'm doing the outline right now, but once I have some chapters posted, I'll show you guys.

Also thought I should answer some questions since I've just been stalking the FC lately. ;0;

- what's your viscet's favorite object? (ex, a stuffed animal or family heirloom) Sunora has a golden bracelet from her friend Arathorn that she was given after they decided to become "blood brothers" as children, she rarely takes it off.
- are your viscets primarily feral or anthro? how does this affect them? Mostly anthro, and I'm not really sure? I guess they're more like humans when they're anthro? ;o;
- which of your viscets has the largest family? do they like being a part of it? Hmm. XD I don't really know, honestly. Probably Kasshoku, even though I haven't developed him a lot, I know he has at least two siblings. owo Now that I think about it, most of my 'cets seem to have no siblings, which is weird, because I have 5 irl. xD
- which of your viscets is the strongest? not necessarily in strength alone, but in magic, courage, etc.? Hmm. That's a hard one. When it comes to courage, probably a split between three viscets, Arathron, Sunora, and Murlé. They're all friends, and would do almost anything for each other and those around them.
- describe the backstory of the viscet you own with the saddest or most angsty backstory Ohh, that would have to be Zabari. His backstory is . . . really sad. He gets cursed, his mate leaves him, and he leaves his home because he's so ashamed. Yeah . . . xD
- describe the backstory of the viscet you own with the happiest backstory Hm. Hmmm. xD Damn, I don't have any happy backstories x'D
- which of your viscets sleeps in a really weird position and who is it? Pff, I dunno. I've never really thought about it? Maybe I should? xP
- do any of your viscets have unrequited love? How do they feel about it? Uhmm-- well, Although Sunora thinks her love for Arathorn is unrequited, it actually isn't. He's just bad at expressing himself / too scared he'll be rejected.
- do they have pets? Do they want pets? Yup! Zabari used to have a pet Shadow Flit named Halima, but he set him free when Zabari left his home. Also, you could say Murlé at least has a connection with a horse named la Brisa, which he used to run away from some soldiers once. ;p

✒ Masaru wears heavy bandana on his head, which is a family heirloom
✒ Sirius has a natural quartz stone which he found at his late grandfather's antique shelf
✒ Matthew owns a swan feather, which is his late mother's memento
✒ Rosalinda wears a scarf made by his cousin
✒ Liberty has a ring made of ruby and silver, which is given by one of his friends when they left to travel

- are your viscets primarily feral or anthro? how does this affect them?
✒ Masaru is a carefree male viscet, he is a feral, but it doesn't matter if he turns out anthro either
✒ Sirius is preferably is feral, he is mostly uncomfortable about anthros
✒ Matthew is also a feral, because.. Well, he is a kid
✒ Rosalinda is a anthro, she doesn't mind and doesn't (often) affect her lifestyle
✒ Liberty is a feral, his life was affected because he is often mistaken as a female; and he hates it

- which of your viscets has the largest family? do they like being a part of it?
✒ Liberty, despite he lives alone, his family is too big, like he has 5 uncle's and 3 aunts.
Honestly, he doesn't care, but he feels like he is the center of attention, he's the smallest child too..

- which of your viscets is the strongest? not necessarily in strength alone, but in magic, courage, etc.?
✒ Masaru is the strongest among all (of my) viscets in the basis of Intelligence, Strength, Courage and Magic
✒ Sirius is strong in the basis of Magic, Integrity and Intelligence
✒ Matthew is strong in the basis of Bravery and Courage
✒ Rosalinda is strong in the basis of Magic and Perseverance
✒ Liberty is strong in the basis of Justice, Fairness and Determination

✒ Masaru, his origins are currently unknown but an theory is that his parents and relatives were massacred.
✒ Matthew, worst of all, His origins has not yet found
but some hints were that his parents disowned him and the only one caring for him is his godfather.
✒ Rosalinda, her parents were too abusive with her and her cousin sister took her back to Russia in order to escape

✒ Liberty, despite his loving Brother died, his parents always protected him in all costs, despite he doesn't need it

✒ Matthew, well, at midnight, he starts moving like a clock (whole 360 degree), he is a deep sleeper

- do any of your viscets have unrequited love? how do they feel about it?
✒ Rosalinda, she never received love, her parents were always abusive and due to heavy torment, she always has an empty feeling of mother's love
- do they have pets? do they want pets?
✒ Masaru owns a White Cockatiel, he wants a wonderful Macaw, but he also has interests in Lovebirds

-->Feral, though I am tryyying to figure out human anatomy (hands and eyes hate me); I guess... I don't know, I find this part hard to answer/explain. They can do the things we can - grab things, craft things, etc, so I guess they could be considered Anthro, but they are still animals and so their behaviors and instincts link back to that end. They don't walk like us, though they are bipedal their gate mimics a raptors, and though they do have languages and understand vocal and written communication, they cant communicate with humans.

- which of your viscets has the largest family? do they like being a part of it?
-->Azula and Apep have the largest family by far. Azula loves it; though she isn't close to many of them, and Apep is... indifferent. He is only really close to his mom, Raika, and doesn't talk much to the family on his father's side.

-->I'd have to say Allaster. He may not be physically the strongest - though he is pretty darn powerful - but his leadership and ability to remain steadfast with a positive outlook tends to put him up in the eyes of others as a powerful viscet.

-->Akuro again! Hahaha. Gosh, this is the most eDgY character I own, and that's saying something given several of them have died brutally. yep. Anyway, this big glum grump had his whole family/pack killed off, was given a power he didn't really want when he got revenge, was kept on near lock-down by a universal counsel as he worked for them, fell in love and broke rules, got his love killed, ran from the counsel for years, finally found Kei Nairi and befriended a female named Akiko - she had a mate so he wasn't interested in her like that - watched her son die to humans, then get reborn as a guardian which has no memory of his heritage, devoted his life to protecting her from seeing him to avoid more hurt to her. So, yep. Edgy boi is edgy.

-->Soooo I guess it doesn't much count as a backstory because it is now the present, but I always think of Kahli as one of the happier stories, because of his mate Lokheed(owned by james.) Kahli was terrified of his tail 24/7 and that fear led him to be unable to do things other viscets do like actually have fun and not walk with a hunch and anxious glance at your living tail because you fear one day it will try to kill you. yep. happy story. Haha, but really, when he met Lokheed so much of that changed for him. He got happier, more confident, and being around her makes him not feel like Amanojaku is going to try and tear out his throat any second.

- which of your viscets sleeps in a really weird position and who is it

- do any of your viscets have unrequited love? how do they feel about it?
-->Lalotai has a crush on the undergrounds leader, Juro, but their personalities are just so far apart that Juro views her more as a little sister. She's tried flirting with him or asking him on a date a few times, but she has always been rejected. She tires not to let it bother her and works hard to remain peppy, but there is that sliver of frustration and sadness that hangs over her head because of it.

- do they have pets? do they want pets?
-->Itzale has an acid-spitting dragon. It's not a good mix, at least not for others.
