Ahh I want to read the manga so badly as well, but on the other hand I really want to finish the anime first... Or at least the first season since waiting until october for season 2 is gonna be a pain. xD
But... I'm so curious about everything and don't have the patience to wait until saturday every week for a new episode...
What should I do, read the manga or wait for the anime to finish?

Since I've read the manga and comparing it to what has been released so far, there are only a few very small things that the anime has not included from the manga (that I have picked up). Since I read it I am even more excited for the anime to be released because
well
I love the manga and I can't wait for all the awesome stoof to be animated.
But if I didn't read it, I would be less or as excited to watch the anime because every episode would be a complete mystery.

I read it mostly because I'm an impatient brat when it comes to anime and manga.
If you aren't patient to know what happens, read the manga. x3

It's all up to what you want to do in the end anyway.
Would you rather watch and then read, or read then watch?

As he is my favourite character, I just can't wait for more of him.
I've also come to like Ferid a whole lot more. I never originally thought much of him at first
but really he seems 2fab not to think much of.
and he looks amazing oh god I love
Despite Mika's hatred vampires I like to ship him (elder Mika I mean x-x) with Ferid.
They look great together imo I just love those two.

I see... I want to know what happens really badly, especially because Hajime and I are planning to roleplay as Yuu and Mika so yeah... I think I'll start reading the manga soon then. Like you said, seeing everything animated later on sounds exciting as well. Reading the exact same stuff after watching the anime is usually kinda boring...

|| From what I can tell the manga has more comedy moments in it than the anime and the whole tone is a little more lighthearted. So it isn't exactly the same.

You make a good point. Some parts are quite funny. I can't really see them being added into the anime.
Not with the tone it has currently. But I really hope it does.

I just watched the new episode, oh my god I enjoyed it so much!
I especially loved seeing more of Mikaela and the other vampires, how he became a vampire etc etc. The parts with Kimizuki were very interesting too! I loved how he and Yuu had to work together in the training.
I have a feeling this is going to end up being my favorite anime of all time. Seriously, I absolutely love everything about it so far. The characters, the settings, the story, the animation, the music... It's just perfect.

I doNUT UNDERSTAnd what they mean. As
Mika doesn't want to kill Yuu.
And Yuu doesn't want to kill Mika.?

So true... I wish I could travel to the future and watch the entire 2 seasons at once, haha. With many animes I usually end up waiting and finish the entire thing in a day or so after it finished airing. But OnS is too awesome I have to watch each episode as soon as it's subbed...

I honestly don't get it either, they want to SAVE each other not kill each other. ? ?? I don't get how hard is it to see when the both explicitly say that in the manga

|| Whilst I love the Mikuu ship, I also really love Yuu/Kimizuki? I just think they are so adorable with their hate moments and then with Kimizuki being all nice to Yuu and pretending he doesn't care about him when he obviously does and ugh. I just love it.
