I just finished Shattered Sky yesterday and spoilers:

I'm really upset. I know that Alderheart is a medicine cat and he was in a different clan from Nettletail but I legitimately shipped them.

I also find Dawnpelt's death ironic. She blamed Jayfeather for drowning Flameheart and caused all this drama only to die by drowning herself.

the thing with thistlexspotted that you have to remember:

thistle was training under mapleshade, and most likely was trying to look good to his teacher
- hey, getting young trainees what a good idea
- oh this impressionable young child likes me..
- sounds like a good person to try and coerce into the dark forest, eh!!

he just had a backwards way of going about it.

also, cats mature at 6 months old so.... o-o

I legitimately read Shattered sky in one morning, and I have no regrets. Spoilers below:

I predicted all the deaths tbh, but I don't care that I did. Twigpaw gave me a panic with the whole thunderpath ordeal, and I was in a love/hate with Needletail the whole series. Still made me sad when she died, because she was redeemed. I was really hoping that Tigerheart would stay, so now i'm very intrigued about what his reason's going to be in the super edition. I was honestly suprised that the rouges were taken care of so soon, I wonder what the Erin's have planned for the rest of the series.


When I say this, know that I haven't read any of the Skyclan Super editions besides Firestar's, but I'm weary of Hawkwing because I just saw Gaurdians of the Galaxy XD

i hear people say firestar is a marysue but..


-not everyone loves him (many cats actively make fun of him after his death)

-he thought about cheating on sandstorm multiple times

-he is not honest at ALL as a warrior, and even after becoming leader still displays this trait a few times

-allows his friend to continuously break the code

-disobeys upper ranked cats AND gets in trouble for it almost every time

-also goes behind his leaders back

-willing to break his set of morals (the warrior code) on multiple occasions

-kept HUGE secrets from the clans that effected everyone (the three, skyclan)

does this sound like a mary sue to you? because it sure doesnt to me.

People say he's a mary sue because he "lived for too long"

um, he was leader for five years. Oh wait, so was plenty of other leaders. But people don't know what timeskips are so they think they must have lived for two years or something

when talking about living forever, you can't forget Tornear. He was an adult warrior in the first book, Into the Wild, and didn't die until the final battle between the clans and the dark forest, as, get this, an adult warrior.

Compared to some of the other leaders, Firestar's reign was pretty short.
One of the reasons people think he's a mary sue imo is because his flaws are 'nonexistent'
Actually, they just aren't what people are looking for. Firestar isn't always honest, he is quite insubordinate, and breaks the warrior code multiple times for cats he likes.

I do remember hearing that Mousefur lived through both the nine lives of Bluestar and Firestar, but I'm not sure if this is true.
