**Game Mechanic Update**
As of today (9/6/23) nursery cooldowns are now two weeks for both participating cats- regardless of if they are the carrier or not. Whilst updating the Nursery pages, the admin team took some time to evaluate the mechanics of how we create our litters- and decided to simplify the cooldown timer in the process. We hope this change will generally create less confusion for the community about individual cat cooldowns. (:

That being said, we've updated the nursery page coding! The page is now generally more sleek, understandable, and expands on a couple mechanics (ie orphan litters). I encourage each member of the community to brush up on the rules and FAQ sections specifically, as we've clarified a few things that may have been confusing before!

We'd like to announce the retirement of one of our very beloved traits- sleek tail! This update has been a long time coming, ever since tuft tail was retired, and we believe now is the perfect time to officialize the update.

Game Mechanic Update
The edit "Sleek Tail" now just falls under the general Fur Edits category, if you have a cat that has this edit you should remove this trait and add "min. fur edit" to your edit list instead. Even if your cat already has a fur edit, please do this!
Just for clarification, only cats that have this edit already may add a second fur edit to their edits list. This is the team's remedy for removing Sleek Tail and will help with future nursery batches! If you currently have a Sleek Tail edit in your bank, it is now a min. fur edit instead.

Hello Stars citizens (hehe <3), it appears there's a new event happening in explore! For the duration of October, there are a list of words that will grant players extra experience and even greater chances to find items while patrolling. Participating in this event will also grant players a chance to win a few explore kitties, which our lovely guests from last month and myself have put together. You can read more about it here; Forum/viewtopic.php?p=143062103#p143062103. Also, the season has changed to leaf-fall, be weary of getting your cats sick during such cool weather.

Speaking of our guests from last month, jay. will officially be joining the team as an artist! jay.'s cats have always been super unique and, frankly, stunning. I can't wait to see more exciting designs made by you jay. !! <3 New guests for October will be announced within a couple days, so sit tight for that announcement everyone.
