Due to high demand and low inventory, we've elected to use a raffle system for future sales and distribution of supernovas. Supernovas cost 3000 stardust, which is the equivalent of 600 C$. If you win a sale raffle, you have to pay for the item before receiving it or having the edit rolled. If you don't have the funds, please do not enter sale raffles. Paid supernovas may receive one reroll.

Snow shifted on her paws, a thoughtful expression on
her muzzle, before noticing you watching her. "Hello!"

She cheered right up, her eyes sparkling with intrigue
as she bounded over and gave you a friendly rub. "I
was wondering, you're a fan of me and the
Nursery NPCs?" You nodded, reflecting on the distinct
personalities and interests each cat has. "Well,
in that case .. I have some extra stuff laying around
and was wondering if you'd like to doodle us in exchange!
I'd be thrilled to show my friends any beautiful work you
make and might even have Cliff paste your work into
future fliers or event threads." She let out a warm purr,
a mmrow of excitement at the idea of that last bit
hanging in the air for a moment. "I've got some MYOs,
edits, shop items, and maybe even Stardust if I can
convince Mousespeck to help with handing out the
prizes to everyone."

Announcements

I have quite a few announcements to make as a kick off for the new month! First and foremost, we're saying goodbye to a handful of staff members <3 Many of the team members of Stars are going back into school or working more often and it's become a struggle to keep up with Stars and responsibilities in real life-- These people include Gravis Cordis, DaniCalifornia, Mothbrainz, and Only_Sky. I'm sad to see our friends leave the team, but have wished each of them a wonderful time and hope that the community will do the same. Each of these artists became such a crucial and important part of Stars, and I'm certain all of us will miss them.
We also have to wave farewell to our guests for last month, LiLi041 and ԏєѧѻӆғוѓԑ (teaonfire). Both of you did amazing and it was such a fun month to hang out. I really hope you two consider coming back as guests some time soon so we can get up to even more shenanigans !!
However bittersweet this moment may be, we would also love to extend a congratulations to our new guests for the month-- ☆ dascanadiansparkle + ☆ Aria of Sorrow + ☆ CloudedDiamond (Diamond). Each of these artists have become quite active and generally are super fun to talk with, so I'm really excited to see what is to come for September in Stars! (:

The team has also elected to move the Twisted/Broken Limbs edit from Rare to NR. After some thought, and with the help of input from the community, I've realized how irresponsible it was to keep it as rare when we moved Missing Limbs. I apologize for the hesitation and would like to thank every person who spoke with me/the team about this issue. While there is no "paywall" in place for this edit any longer, I ask that the community understand that a major line edit like this may still have additional commission prices set by the team when customs open/in general. As always, if you would like to add a broken/twisted limb to your character, you can always reach out to me and I'll add it free of charge.

There are some weird rumors about something sinister in Explore...
There's some weird stuff happening in explore, it's still freezing!
We have reports of extremely angry predators roaming the woods as well, meaning it could be extra dangerous.

Cliff hardly escaped a badger in time to deliver a message-- something about a strange cat being spotted speaking with nearby rogues. While I don't think we have all the information we need quite yet.... it's important we keep an eye on him. Cliff has taken Furzetuft and Fennel to the last known location of the cat. Hopefully we'll have more information soon.

And like fallen angels arising to take reality by storm, the monsters… the beasts have arrived.
Gnashing jaws and ivory talons upon the dappled kiss of daylight and the wistful shine of the moon, the beasts have come. A curse of cruel enchantment possessing their dark, moonless gaze as they wander… as everything they touch falls apart to the lyrical chime of destruction.

And from there, there is whispers.

Whispers that unravel to the nuance of a dark, treacherous tale. A tale of a cat… a monarch of starless darkness leading monsters and beasts alike to a reality of their nightmarish gain. A mastermind veiled with secrets and endlessly vigilant.

Endlessly watching.

And they were… they always were.
Veiled by the shadows kissed by the hues of onyx ink, the monarch watches and waits, a hushed, murmuring song upon their lips. A song fathomed of rage as unfamiliar silhouettes wander close -

Too close…

The song was sickeningly sweet upon their tongue, bejewelling the dark with moonless gazes. The beasts. The monsters. And now, they were bowing… bowing to the monarch of the starless skies.

Of the dark.

“Go my friends… after them.”

It appears as though a sinister force is messing with the very balance of the forest- Predators are on the prowl for unsuspecting prey and rogues seem to be creeping in every shadow. The wind is yet cold, chilling your very clan mates to their bones.
Though treacherous, there are also reports of great intrigue as well-- more treasures than one can possibly imagine lying in wait. And stories of a strange cat with a freckled pelt, who must be investigated.

From the time period of 11/13 to 12/13 players will be able to enter for our very first Mythical Explore Cat! The only way for players to earn a ticket for entry is through finding Fennel or Furzetuft while exploring the forest, they will tell you everything you need to know about the stranger who seems to be controlling the forest. However, be wary if you are opted into death -- as it is significantly more dangerous out there !

There is also a higher chance for your cats to find items in explore and, at the end of the month, I'll be rolling for some random players who participate in the event to win some very adorable kitties who seem to have been spooked by all the predators lurking around!

I don't think iv'e introduced myself on this thread yet so Hi, I'm Thani.
I don't know anything about warriors or cat genetics but I sure do love writing lore and characters so here I am.
My clan is called Pebbleclan
It's still being worked on and coded to look pretty but all my cats have been placed there already.

I have a few things to note firstly
I am looking to develop IC relationships for all my cats, but especially for
Phloxglow
and
Fallowheart
I don't have any preference for roleplay types, or if you just want to talk about them and skip the RP thats also totally fine!
I just want some cute pairings to hopefully develop lore around and get art of! So feel free to PM me here about potential mates, I am not picky!

I also have this kid I'm looking to trade.
I would prefer only cat offers and no CS$ offers at this time.

New Item Alert
There are new autopass items now available in the shop!


The *shooting star shard* is a common autopass item, enabling one common edit from the parent of choice to automatically pass to one kitten in the litter. The *shooting star fragment* is an uncommon autopass item that allows players to chose an uncommon/c edit (that one of the parents have) to automatically pass to one kitten in the litter.

Snow carefully ate the bird at her paws, gaze dancing
between the cats in camp. Everyone seemed excited about
something-- maybe it was the Catvent thing she'd heard
Cliff mention a few days ago. But she couldn't help but
feel like something was.. missing?

After what seemed like the longest, quietest day in
moons, it finally hit her. Today's the birthday of Stars
V2!! "Oh Starclan, how could I have nearly forgotten",
she hurried to her paws and shuffled around some of
her inventory. "Hmm.. how about I quiz some of you!"

The molly's purr was infectious as she began to explain,
now to a crowd of warriors rather than to herself," It's
easy,you tell me a fun fact about Stars, and I give you 20
SD! It can really be any fact, as long as it's true and has
to do with the lore of Stars! Feel free to look at things
like old events, any official Stars page, and even the
archive if that supplies some facts for ya."
