The milk appaloosa is a hybrid marking known to cause and effect multiple types of markings.

The appaloosa look alike is the original marking with a large change. It's more like a reverse splash with spots. Similar to dripping milk.
The milk appaloosa will always come in a soft cream color, hence another play with the name. Sometimes a rough ticking like pattern can form, seen on the neck.

When it comes to other markings, the milk appaloosa changes the color. Depending on the intesty of this modifier, only some of the base marking can be changed. For example the Dun baring on the legs are noticeably the same color as the milky appaloosa, but the hind legs didn't change.

A horse will always have a bald face and nearly creamy white eyes.

The tail typically has cream fur transitioning into the original hair color. Never will it be a gradient!
