What on earth is a lava dog???
Glad you asked! A lava dog is a canine animal that consists of fur, lava, and an unknown material that keeps their lava from spilling! On the outside, they have soft, warm fur. On the inside, they have lava! Yes, hot, gooey, lava. Don't worry about burns though, they have a material over the lava that absorbs heat and keeps the lava from spilling out of them. The material is very strong and only an extremely powerful force can cause cracks or even break it.

I'm looking for artists for my adopts, lava dogs! Before you start designing, read the below guidelines.


● Their eyes, lava, tongue, and paw pads are all the same color
● The lava is either a solid color or a gradient
● Rarely do Lava dogs have markings on the lava; if they do it's ALWAYS simple like here
● Can have different kinds of ears and tails

The lava dogs created here are not official unless i state otherwise
Only use the base for entries, nothing else
Group all entries under a cover image please
No entry limit
Line edits allowed, but no edits to the anatomy
Use the application form on your cover image
