Hello! Welcome to The Wedgewood Rexes's guest artist search! TWR is looking for at least 3 people, but likely more depending on the number of applicants, to become guest artists and from there, potentially choose a few to stay on as full artists. Please read the main adoption page and all of this page before applying. This contest will end around US Thanksgiving. Let me know if you have any questions! Thanks for the interest!

You can make up to 3 entries
Do not put entries under a cover page - all entries must be on their own page
Experience with rabbit coat colors is great, but not required!

COLOR
TWRs use any and all natural rabbit color and coat patterns, not just those associated with Rex rabbits
Natural colors only! - See the second post of the main adoption page for a short summary of rabbit color genes.
Patterns should be mostly natural, but small unnatural markings/patterns (hearts, ...) is acceptable

why|| I would love to be an artist because these lines are adorable and remind me of the rabbits I had when I was younger. It would also give me a chance to better familiarize myself with rabbit coloration and genetics, which I believe would be a fun opportunity. I also find that being an adoptable artist gives me a chance to meet people and express myself creatively and I would love to get to know more people in the TW rex community.

Non-equine experience includes my species the snare horned gazelle (that badly need a line update >.< ) and the species my bestie and I co-run, the African Grinning hounds

why|| Well all in all I thought it would be fun so I entered. Also I love small animals and owned a rabbit temporarily. I also love natural colors and patterns so I felt this contest would be the best for me.
artist experience|| Sadly I am fairly new on CS and have not done many contests as of yet. I only entered one other which shows in my gallery.

I am dropping out, as I have no time to design these.

why|| why not? The lines are soo cute, and I'd love to get more into designing. I especially love natural designs and I can get creative based on a natural pattern better than starting a design from scratch. Genetics intrigue me, and I think it'd be interesting to get to know rabbit genetics more from designing a few of these, especially since my own pet rabbit has some curious colourings I'd like to check out, and I'm hoping this experience may help me. Apart from the designing aspect, I really like the community of adoptables and I want to get more involved in adoptable communitites since I'm only really in one and I adore all the people (and horses) there.

why|| I love the design and hey, there are not many Rabbit adopts out there! I find it enjoyable that all natural rabbit colors are allowed in the one breed. I have a huge love of rabbits, colors, and genetics. And I have had experience with Rex rabbits in rl. I don't currently own my own Rex, but I do own other breeds.
