Elias is the heir of noble House Aerie. As the heir, he feels a sense of responsibility to his people and the land that he has devoted his life to serving. Unlike others who appear bowed by the weight of such responsibilities, though, Elias is quite the optimist, tending to be cheerful and outgoing in most situations. He is quite intelligent, leaning more towards book smarts than street smarts. Despite this, his sunny smile, easygoing yet confident air, and genuine earnestness lends him a fair amount of charisma to many. He tries hard to get to know and befriend others, and not allow them to be intimidated by his rank, with mixed success.

Descended directly from the fables who originally participated in the Rescue, his weather magic is keen and strong. Having trained with the most skilled tutors, mages, and peak-eagles from a young age to hone these abilities, Elias is quite well-practiced and knowledgeable about weather magics. He makes a point of teaching magic lessons when possible to younger, less experienced fables of the court, seeking to share his knowledge, benefiting as many as possible instead of sequestering it away.

Although his intentions are good, and he strives to see the best in others and give them his best as well, this openness and general trust in others can sometimes lead Elias astray. He may be taken advantage of by those who appeal to his sense of honor and care for others, and can sometimes be a bit socially naive and oblivious when it comes to the often complex social politics of multiple noble Houses interacting. He’ll need to learn to guard himself and his House more carefully by the time he inherits the Aerie Throne…
