Hello and welcome to my little place. For those of you who don't know me, I'm Leafstorm
and I am an avid designer who's been a part of CS since somewhere in 2009. You can just
call me Leaf, or Leafy though. After some consideration. I decided to open a side thread
specifically for Valentine's Day because I feel very strongly about love in general.

Some people think that Valentine's Day is just another day, or just for those who have
significant others or someone they romantically love. But to me, I think it means more.
I think it's a season where we can remember that the world is in desperate need for more
love, not necessarily things like all over agreement or a commonality, but a love for things
that are different. Love isn't about being the same, it's about loving the differences no
matter what side of anything you fall on. It's about how you treat others and their ideas,
no matter how you feel about them. It's about caring for other people more than just
surface level. I think love is about believing in more, and being strong enough to fight for it.
I think now more than ever, MLK Jr's quote rings true. Hate doesn't make love by any
methods, only love makes love.


So because of all that silly emotional jazz, I wanted to make some stuff for Valentine's
Day/season because I like the general idea and I never design with pink lol
There will be free adopts, an auction, and maybe a few customs/mystery adopts
as well. ;u; If anyone has any theme suggestions or color palette ideas, I invite
you to post them here and share them. <3 Maybe I'll use them in the final outcomes!!

There will also be some breeding slots as well, since what better time than now?? <3
I'd like people to let me know if they prefer natural colors, or one of each? There will
only be one female and one male up for breeding and very limited slots. Really this is
a time for us to all be happy just connect over designs and art. No negativity of any
kind will be tolerated. All credit goes to Tealea for the lines, since the lines have brought
me and so many others so much joy, I want to say thank you yet again to them for all their
kindness. <3

I agree with you 100% on what you said about Love.
This world we live in is in need of lots of Love.

Love is such a special emotion.
If you just think of the wonderful powers Love
has, it surpasses all other emotions.
Love has the ability to heal.. to cover over any
transgression. We have all heard "Love is Blind,"
well, that reigns true. And Love should be blind!
Blind to all the hate, blind to any wrongs that have
been done to us. Love forgives. I know that some
of you probably have little to no interest in the Bible,
and I understand that.. I'm not trying to preach
or anything. But there is a passage at 1 Corinthians
chapter 3 that describes Love perfectly. It says:

"Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous.
It does not brag, does not get puffed up,
does not behave indecently,
does not look for its own interests,
does not become provoked.
It does not keep account of the injury.
It does not rejoice over unrighteousness,
but rejoices with the truth.
It bears all things, believes all things,
hopes all things, endures all things
Love never fails..."

We should all strive to apply the quality of Love
in our lives. It makes the world a much better place.

I am personally so grateful for this enduring and
timeless quality we call Love!
