Exactly what the title says. I had a pixelated, less detailed version of Onyxflame earlier, but now he looks better. :3
Onyx was born in a very unforgiving setting, with two older siblings, a sister a year older and a brother two years. His father was very quiet and hasn't talked to him much until recently. Onyx's brother, sister and mother were very harsh to him. Onyx was the only child to have powers, his mother has mind reading, and his father has both as well. Onyxflame never liked or appreciated his family, and he didn't understand his father. With political chaos going on in the outside world, Onyx had no one to go to. An attack on their home when Onyx was 7 is what changed his life forever. His mother, and siblings were killed, and Slateheart, Onyx's father, fled with Onyx.
Slate finally talked to Onyx once they figured they were safe, giving him a very heartfelt talk, telling Onyx about his history and past experiences. He explained how he never saw this future coming, how the comet stayed, and the chosens formed. Slateheart told Onyx how to survive, how to use his powers, and ultimately and intimately told Onyx a well deserved apology for not being very active in his early life. The pair were safe for for a year, surviving off of the land and becoming very close.
One night, a pair of chosens came in the darkness, attacking Slateheart and waking up Onyx. The duo slaughtered his father right in front of him, and began to pursue the dragonet. The duo quickly became a trio as one of them had the ability to create doubles of himself. Onyx managed to fight the older dragons by using precognition, only injuring them enough to flee, not knowing what place lied ahead...
