She traveled for many years, gaining support and obtaining resources and weaponry. Her charismatic personality and clever mind made many flock to her aid. 3 years after she left, she returned home. The rebellion was over, but she rebel leader died before she could see her efforts pay off. The local packs mourned her greatly and gave her a new name upon her death, Zaveră. Over the years, it became obvious that some kind of storm spirit was aiding rebellions against oppressors. One scholar heard the story of they young viscet and put the pieces together. After her death, having never felt the feeling of a successful rebellion, she has stayed around to aid all rebellions she deems worthy. This began a tradition of local armies, both viscet, human, and the like. On the eve of fighting their enemies, warriors would call on Zaveră for aid. Some found no help, others noticed that a sudden storm would harm their enemies. Over time her name became legend, and she was named a deity. She had long forgotten her original name, or why she initially rebelled, but she continues to fight for freedom, for all beings.
Short story:A burst of lightning opens the sky. A torrent of rain falls to the earth, soaking the warriors to the bone. They march through the icy mud that is tainted with the blood of their fallen brothers. The wind howls, the trees groan from the pressure of above. A clap of thunder seems to shake the very earth. Still they march on. None seem to feel the cold, or wind. They march with single-minded purpose. Driven on by the confidence of knowing that they are being watched and have been deemed worthy. They see her form in the shadows, hear her voice in the wind.
"Forward. To victory." She whispers in their ears. Another strike of lightning.
"To freedom." She beckons once more. A strike of lighting seems to highlight her ghost of a smile, and in the next second it is gone just like her. They know that they have reached their destination. Below them lies the camp of the enemy. The storm above picks up fury and then after a second of silence they blow the horn to declare war. The wind turns ferocious in response. Spinning and picking up the rain, a tornado carves a path to the enemy. The lighting comes down faster, striking the ground as the enemy scrambles into action. They try to compose themselves but the warriors rush forward. Soon the storm dies. The enemy lies on the ground. Fallen by the hands of the people they had enslaved. Freedom has been achieved. Rebellion successful. The warriors look towards the distance where they see her for the last time. She gives toothy grin and tips her head back to howl. The sound carries with them the fury of the wind and they yell back in response. She smiles once more, then in a burst of sparks, she disappears.
