GH Litter Discussion 2022

I love all of the GH litter outcomes so much! I wasn't such a fan of the palette this time round, but everyone made stunning cats and used the colours really creatively!

My favourite is Aurora Storm's because eucalyptus trees are so cool, I love the unique bark! I also like | Aloy |'s cat because of the shared lineart with a previous GH outcome; and Oddity-Lad's Oozrook (I love how another user said Oozrook uses “mintosis” lol); and Wobbuffet's and Lennie's because I always love space themed pets; and all the other outcomes because they're amazing!

i liked the pallette, enjoyed guessing and reading back stories and really liked the little sleeping kitten with the adorable blanket and lovely markings

my favourite part of each kitten is probably:

• the cool concept and i love the layering effect of the goo in odditys kitty <3
• i looove the pose of both the young stage and the grown up version of luckys kitty <3
• aurora's kittys mist, so cool and pretty and ofc i love the tree, and the bark like pattern on the body <3
• the absolute floofiness of axelandrias kitty, esp love the tail and ears and the stripelike pattern accentuating that <3
• the floofiness of swishys kitty, esp i looove the tail and the colouring of the wings! <3
• aloys kitty, ooooh! i love the vine like pattern so much and the colouring of the tail and the shading all over! <3
• i love the stars on lennie's kitten, and the placement of the moon and the paws <3
• i love the matching purple eyes and nose of eagle eyes kitten and the pattern of the four paws <3
• and wobuffets kitten, i love the stars on the hat, the bubbles and the cape and the ears poking out <3

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who has participated or followed along with the litter this year! It really was a surreal moment to see a pet I created actually floating around the site and even getting dressed up by people. I loved reading everyone's theories for each kitty and of course seeing my fellow GH's amazing designs come to life ♡ I think everyone did an amazing job with this year's beautiful palette and it was really cool to see the different takes on accent colours! I think my personal favourite is Lennie's adorable space kitty ^^

I hope you all had fun too and as Odd previously mentioned, any suggestions for next year's thread are always welcome!

oh wow i love this one so much!!!! i feel so homely and nostaglic to me. i can just feel that smooth eucalyptus bark <3 and the tail perfectly shows those foggy mornings in the eucalyptus forests

i had to draw them, along with the lorikeet (from the hint!) (even though rainbow loris are invasive over here in WA </3)


also had to make fanart of my pal swishy's cat :D
