Pine Valley Ranch has been breeding high quality quarter horses for generations! Specializing in producing horses with slow, smooth gaits with disciplines like western pleasure and hunter under saddle in mind. Over the years we’ve imported horses from around the world to aid in our breeding program! It’s been such a success that for the first time we are offering our stock to the public, including a breeding facility with a handful of our top studs and mare available for stud and brood. Welcome to Pine Valley Ranch adopts! Every user will be able to claim a randomized founder to start off! After that, Pine Valley quarter horses can be “bought” through the auction center! All adopts beside customs will be free. Our auction center currently had two options, both with limited slots! Option one is applying for a horse in the loose auction pen. You have a 100% chance of getting a horse, and the base color and pattern will be completely randomly generated. Option two is through our main auction. You’ll know what color the horse is ahead of time but watch out! These horses are very popular and there is only a 75% chance of winning the horse you choose.

• Do not claim the species as your own

• These are not official pine valley horses and may not be used as such

• You may at least have a basic grasp on color genetics (know what makes up the base coats at least. Happy to help with questions about anything just dm me)

• Do not make a cover

• Include phenotype and genotype

• You must be active in the species! Non owners will not be considered for an artist position. We want someone who enjoys and participates with PV!

• Please have discord! We have a PV section on the Yukon discord server and that’s how me and our current artist communicate so that would be best <3

Just wanted to add for reference we don’t use patn2 in PVQH. Since it’s not confirmed irl and complicates things, it’s just easier that way. At and A+ are similar but we do include it. I’m sure it seems a little pick and choosy haha but Appaloosa patterns are complicated enough on their own that it just makes it a little easier for our not so genetics savvy members and artists. Thank you!
