welcome to the RCRA artist search! this will be ongoing, with no set end date - you may enter at any time. before you get started, some rules:

• do not make personal characters. RCRA is a closed species, and these lines are only for the artist search.
• do no remove the 'fake' sign.
• please make a cover, and a minimum of 3 entries to be considered. you are also more than welcome to link to some past designs of yours that you're proud of.
• please include phenotype & genotype under each entry, to the best of your abilities. if you're really unsure about genotype, just the phenotype will do.
• there's no monthly requirement to being an artist, you may make adopts whenever you have the ability to do so.
• as staff, you are allotted one very common-uncommon custom a month, and one rare-very rare custom per calendar year.
• while there is no monthly requirement to being an artist, you should still make 2-3 adopts per month before creating your monthly custom.
• knowledge of genetics is not required, but the willingness to learn is! please feel free to reach out for any sort of help - I'm very happy to provide.
• for info on breed-specific genetics, please check out breed information linked above. it's a little rough at the moment, but will get better soon, promise ':)

• if you would like to considered as a guest artist instead, please let me know under your cover! you'll have 2 months to make as many designs as you like, and will be allowed one custom anywhere from very common-rare.

• RCRA uses some slightly different genetics that should be noted. there are a few different kinds of splash used (SW1, SW4, and the breed-specific SW8), as well as a specific dominant white (W10) and the breed-specific dominant white, Witrick white (Wr). these are all explained further in the breed information page, but, again, please feel free to reach out for help!
