- [ Rules ]
- Each adopt is custom-made and must be 100% original (designs may be inspired by or based on certain things, but please do not directly copy existing characters or designs.)
- All entries must be made on oekaki, as cover adopts are no longer allowed. There is no limit to how many entries you may make.
- No cover/masterposts for all of your entries. Please link to other entries in each post!
- Dollhouse has a very unique lore! Artists must be familiar with the species info to avoid canon incompliance
- Diversity in your entries is encouraged! We are looking for artists who can make a unique adopt every time.
- Shadows must be included in all of your entries - though judging will be based mostly on the actual Dolls
- Admittedly it's very easy to forget, but these are Ball-Jointed Dolls! Each design should reflect this.
- If you are accepted as an artist, you may keep your design as a custom or have it moved under the Dollhouse cover as an official adopt.Hoshikuzu wrote: Try and really consider what it means to be an artist here. We want unique, custom-drawn art every single time. This takes lots of time, and often, lots of editing and re-drawing. Not to mention oekaki is very laggy for some pretty much every artist. And, to be blunt, it's vexing when artists apply, get in, then only post a couple adopts before becoming blatantly inactive.
We don't require weekly dolls, or even monthly dolls, but participation in the fanclub, or a doll when there's been a noticeable lack of them recently, would mean a lot.
Please note that we may make a way for non-oekaki designs to be put up for adoption. So to all those who have trouble with this drawing software, don't be discouraged!
If you have any questions, please post on this thread or PM me with "Dollhouse" in the title if it cannot be answered by someone else.
