Creeping down the narrow path, a house appears on your left. A haze drifts over the house and leaves a spooky tingle down your spine. A black snake slithers across the yard and makes you jump backwards. “Don’t worry about him, he’s harmless,” echoed a voice from the porch. You head up the small sidewalk to be greeted by a pair of kits. One dressed in an oversized pineapple costume and the other who looks like a rockstar. The small rocks star tips his sunglasses down and looks over at you, “You in search of candy? We got some right here.” he pats the ground next to him where a bowl filled to the brim with candy sat. The kit in the pineapple let out a laugh, “All you gotta do is guess what fruit I'm holding behind my back.” You could hear him rustling through a bowl of fruit from behind the giant pineapple suit. You pondered the odd question by such odd kits but in the end agreed to play their silly little game.

Welcome to Wavey Davey and Pine Nut’s Place! This mini-game is part of the Kalon 2025 Trick or Treat Event! This door will be open when the lights are on and the boys are asking you to guess what fruit they are hiding. Each opening there will be a different fruit for you to guess! It doesn’t matter if you guess the fruit right or wrong, if this door is a treat you will receive a prize. Make sure to fill out which opening it is for your answer to count. Feel free to edit your post if the lights are on. Remember to only enter for two doors per opening. Happy Halloween!

You shook your head in agreement for the challenge of guessing the fruit. Pine Nut smiled, “Alright for your first fruit here are your hints.” Wavey Davey looked behind Pine Nut and grinned. “This fruit would be one you could only see at night or maybe at a famous movie premiere.” The pair let out a snicker. “Yea yea you wouldn’t see much of this fruit on a night with a full moon or in a small rural town.” Another cheeky grin widened on the pair’s faces. In sync they spoke, “What do you think the fruit is?”

The bird, not the fruit. Can fruits be nocturnal? But would a kiwi be at a movie premiere? They're far too shy. Ohhh, I see now!" Her grin is blinding. "It's a starfruit! Very clever, but you can't trick me!!!"

What fruit is it?: Tarot rubbed her paws on her face for a bit. "Uhm... UM... Hmm... Is it, uhh... A fwuit bat?" she looked up at the two kalons with big wide eyes. She seemed only somewhat confident in her answer. "My baba says uhm, that fwuit bats are 'octurnal. And my daddy says, uhm, a lot of people who get famous at the movies are uhm... I think he cawwed them... Owd bats!" she smiled proudly for remembering that. She started giggling to herself. "It's a fwuit bat!"
In the distance stands her parents, Nari and Lamby. You see Nari put his palms against his face and Lamby give Tarot a thumbs up. "You're doing great, sweetie!" Lamby calls out, standing up on their toes.

The kit vaguely looks around the front in confusion. Bubblegum tries to be nonchalant as she leans to the side, but is quickly stopped by the hand on her shoulder. Her tenacity was endearing, but Yui wasn't going to let her child cheat.
After an awkward few moments of quiet bickering between the guests, Bubblegum is finally given the answer. Her face immediately scrunches. "Starfruit's a real fruit? Why haven't we had them? They sound so cool!"

What fruit is it?: Taffy deadpans at the hints. Then she squints, puffing up her cheeks as she thinks. There has to be an obvious answer to this - maybe it's a pun? Maybe she's supposed to be thinking of a pun?!
They stand in silence for so long as Taffy struggles to find a funny joke that she begins to consider just walking away. And then she decides, oh well, and blurts out with as much confidence as she can (which isn't much) "oh, obviously it's an apple! Because, um... the apple of your eye and all that!"
