This place seriously needs some care.. is that a cat? Why is it staring like that?

[Foxglove.]

A cold chill flew through the air, the cat that had once been watching you from the porch now long gone and replaced with silence as you knock the door. There's no answer, but the quiet rustle of bushes as a kalon with overgrown pink and blue hair comes around the side of the house. The owner perhaps? Are they dressed as an alien?




"Hello! You're at my house!" He exclaims excitedly, coming to a stop uncomfortably close in your personal space before seeming to remember to take a few steps backwards. "I'm-"

He's cut off by the sound of a distorted meow, though he seems rather carefree about it. You find yourself a little weirded out by it all.



"Ignore that." He laughs, shaking his head as he holds out his paw in greeting. "I'm Boo, it's nice to meet you!" With that out of the way he whips around to grab a bowl of what you assume could only be candy.

There's a moment of hesitation before he sets the bowl back down; the contents out of sight and looks back towards you with a friendly smile.



"Say, if you answer a question for me I might reward you with more candy than you could eat. Maybe some other cool prizes too if I really like your answer," He giggles, tilting his head as if he were studying your every move. "Do you believe in aliens?

prompt: they seemed especially excited to come to this house - perhaps because the owner's costume looks quite similar to their natural appearance. they point and chirp and seem entirely unfazed by the lack of personal space, and in fact seem only more excited to get a better look. upon realising that it's only a costume they pause slightly, hovering about the front steps uncertainly before seemingly deciding that it doesn't matter, and pointing again between the homeowner's antennae and their own with a big smile. that seems to be the only answer they give to the question, but it's a clear enough 'yes'.
