Canis never found comfort in the hooved creatures of this planet. Instead, she found kinship with the ones with fangs, the ones with claws that left gouges in trees and sent rabbits and deers running for the hills. But the wolves that claimed the forest and its inhabitants as their own did not share the same sentiment. It was clear that they viewed her as a threat, rather than their kin.

At this time, the mare hadn't much of a clue of what she was capable of. Not until her attempts to tell them she could belong, that she did belong did she notice how their hackles went down, how they began to agree. Her purple scales rippled and turned to the same shade of the wolves' gunmetal gray fur. Once she'd left the pack for some rest, they returned to their original color.

As it turns out, Canis couldn't turn into the animals she desired to be. But she could make them believe she was.

I chose this power simply because it seemed like an interesting one for such a light and innocent looking Kirin. It's an opposite neither inherently evil or good power from what you would expect of her.
