Name Meaning: Kintsugi is a Japanese art form that involves repairing broken ceramics with gold. I find it to be a beautiful metaphor for personal growth, healing, and blossoming. The stark white coat color of this mare compared with the gold/amber/bronze coloring of her quipping immediately reminded me of the kintsugi art form!

Personality: Kintsugi's personality is very much reminiscent of her name. I wouldn't call her shy, but she is typically a bit reserved, and more than anything - she is a caretaker. She is very in-tune with what other equids are feeling, and quickly picks up on signs of discomfort or nervousness. She is never afraid to stick up for/offer a shoulder to one in need.
