-Don’t panic, I did not work on this WME for 22 hours lol. I forgot oekaki open, oops!-

Happy Lunar New Year! As you’ve seen, we are celebrating the new year as we enter the year of the snake with Dragonquids inspired by snakes!

Height: 12.2 hh
Gender: Mare
Colour: Dappled Blue Roan
Quipping: Thick Filled Regular

*This equid is a Dragonquid, it must follow event equid restrictions. For more information check out the Info Centre*

Current Owner: opti-mism

Similar to the other Dragquids currently available, to win this adopt you’ll need to fill out the form below. For the form, I’d love to see a fun fact about snakes and water, whether that’s about sea snakes or regular snakes and water. This contest is a simple raffle and the winner will be chosen at random. Edits are allowed until closing date, edits after will be disqualified.Extras are not allowed. Contest closes Jan 31st at 10pm GMT // 4pm CST.

Fun fact: An individual northern water snake may look different in water than on land. As its scales dry, the colors appear more uniform and it can be harder to see the snake’s bands of color.

Fun fact: Sea Snakes an be submerged for hours at a time! this is believed because they can partly breath through their skin while underwater, which is hella metal

Fun fact:
Sea snakes can remain underwater for several hours, sometimes eight or more. This is partly due to the fact that they can breathe through their skin, as they have a dense network of blood vessels that allow them to extract oxygen from the water.

Fun fact: One of my favorite aquatic snakes species is the Elephant Trunk Snake. They're very unique in appearance and while most water snakes can go in and out of the water, these guys are actually one of few fully aquatic snakes! No land for these wrinkly babies.
