One night, there is a bad storm…and they scramble up on the couch. Inching closer and closer to me, until their muzzle touches me. I pet them and pat them and tell them everything is alright. After that, they start coming to me. Every day, like clockwork, they come to the couch. They sit or lie down beside me. We watch tv and YouTube together, I play video games and eat food, and other things, and they are always by my side.

However, she seems to always relax around Everest specifically, it's like he brings her a sense of safety, and his company puts her at ease, and helps her adjust to this, something new enters the home that's unfamiliar, Evy curiosity elxpores it, which tells her this tv box isn't dangerous, or this big fuzzy dog bed because it introduces a new smell. Pretty soon he figures out it out, mostly when he noticed Everest sharing a toy that Amore seems to always keep with her, so naturally it would become her comfort item, even more so since it smelled like Everest.
