See, as a calf who was spoken to in french, she thought the crescent moon (croissant de lune) was somehow related to the croissant you can eat, and she really liked this kind of croissants, so she obviously loved the crescent/"croissant" moon. Now that she's older, she thinks it's hilarious, and still loves the crescent moon because of that story.
