Name Meaning: A variation on Akeelah. As a (further) variation of Aqila and Akilah, "Akeelah" is rooted in the Arabic word âqil and means "wise" or "intelligent."
Prompt: Akeela is always fidgeting with something. His favourite of all of his somethings is the metal cap to the end of a mechanical pencil. It caps over the eraser to keep it from coming off. He loves to roll it around in his mouth (we know, there are better fidget toys for oral fixations!) and feel it clack against his teeth. He loves running his tongue over it and sticking his tongue inside the hollowed out inside of it. It's small, smaller than his smallest toe, and pure silver. It's probably made of a flimsy metal, not real silver, but he doesn't much care. If he's not careful and bites it, it crumples into a flat piece. He's done this once and his owner had to track down a new one, because it was just too hard to bend back to its natural shape. Sometimes he fidgets with the pencil, too, but that's rarer than just the cap!
