my second cat, thorn, has stolen my little heart with her old woman charms. i love designs that are a little less traditional like hers, but she really came to life during the competition. her story just flowed so easily as i was entering the competition. i knew from all her scars that i wanted her to have lived a tough life where she wasn't able to show much vulnerability, but what else could she be?

she is a vital part of my clan's lore as the adoptive mother of my founder. she doesn't view herself as a very maternal cat, yet she's basically the 'grandmother' of the entire clan metaphorically. despite any challenges, she also would never give up on her family. she's someone who has completely dedicated themself to this new life, and i don't think she regrets it one bit. sure, she had freedom before, but what did she have to live for besides a next meal?

The black and white design blend great with the cowboy hat and bandana. All he needs is a pair of boots and a horse haha. My second fav is this little fall fellow, Forum/viewtopic.php?f=124&t=4989943. talk about colors blending perfectly and giving me that fall vibe. He caught my attention so fast with his cute little face and pumpkin friend. I think all the designs are just gorgeous and I can't wait to dd more to my desert clans!

It’s hard to pick a favorite because I adore all of my Runaways kitties. The designs are impeccable <3 I loveeeee the way you made Oceanbreeze’s coloring fit her name! Magmatuft, too. But I think if I had to choose, it would be Ginger. Writing about how she just decided to go join Sunclan because she thought Sunflower was pretty makes me giggle. It gave me inspiration to write patrols because then I was like ooooh... what are the implications of her leaving her old home so abruptly? does she regret it? how do her feelings for Sunflower affect her future decisions? I find her to be the easiest cat to write when it comes to try-out prompts for new cats. It’s so fun to write her being so blunt and acting spoiled XD
