She never knew what to do with them so she amassed a quite large pile of what some others would consider trash. One day while out and about, she saw a beautiful girl gluing similar items into a leather bound notebook. After striking up a friendly conversation (and stopping by a stationary store on her way home), Sim began to hone her craft. Oevwyn spends her days organizing an endless, ancient archive - deep in an enchanted forest - with magical tomes, timelost scrolls, and mystical artifacts. It's tough work, but Oevwyn is dedicated to her life's passion. She loves organization and magic so combining the two is a delight! And after all, most employees usually disappear... the archaic library likes to play tricks and sometimes the shelves, aisles, and hallways shuffle around. Oevwyn finds it a fun game and has a fantastic sense of direction!

Her favorite part - besides helping the public find obscure, archived items - is catching the flying, magical books. There are a few who are especially wily and she has the best time snatching a tome from the air right when it thinks it has escaped. The books are finicky, sensitive creatures and Oevwyn knows just how to soothe their ruffled pages - by telling them they are the best, most amazing, most magical book she's ever read. That always sets them right and then they will sit politely on their shelf until another moonlit night.

Her least favorite part of her job is the cleaning - the dust bunnies have a mind of their own and like to hop from her. They come alive at night, along with other shadows and specters that she sees sometimes between the shelves. Oevwyn doesn't fear anything though, except bookworms and mold. Terrible task to fix that. Written letters are a luxury that few Fables can afford. Why pay someone to scrawl words down when it is more economically to tell them directly? Besides, precise magic that can be used to pen calligraphy for letter could be spent on far more important matters.

Yet, it is hard to piece together a confession when emotions overwhelm words.

Letters provide the breathing room that Ellis is all too pleased to provide for them.

Ellis loves listening to Fables wax poetic about their loved ones. She doesn’t think she would ever get tired of all the ways someone can describe a fable’s beautiful laugh. Does it bellow, jingle, or boister? There are never enough ways to describe it and how it makes her commissioners feel.

Some letters are so syrupy sweet that Ellis hopes the other fable receives a cavity upon reading it. Other times, she can feel the outpouring of awe from her client to even get the words on the page.

After all, writing letters is not immortalization of love, but a proclamation that it exists.
