a winner will be rolled on 10/31
Raffle, but to enter please tell me what kind of world you would envision your fables in? I’m curious to know what others think. For mine, I think of them as living in different herds and having medieval-esque conflicts over territory and magic.

answer: i think i imagine a pretty stereotypical magical forest,,, talking animals and wispy fog, golden sunlight flickering down through the leaves of ancient oak trees. i imagine that there are different groups of fables, and some who choose to wander alone. very excited to develop it more once i get my hands on one <3

answer: I like to imagine they live in the modern world, but are very rare and scarce. They live deep in national parks and forests; but some wander to the outskirts of cities. Particular "problem" fables are known as fierce protectors of the land that humans are taking over, and are urban legends.

answer: i like to imagine them in fields and hills, dotted with the ruins of castles, with plenty of lovely and strange flora and fauna sprinkled in (i have a personal species it think would mix well with these fellas). the castles would be the markers for each territory, with a matriarch/patriarch that rules over a small but close-knit family group.

answer: I do not have any yet so i may change my mind later lol. but if I do I think I'll attach it to another rpg world I have for stars. They live deep in the woods neighing a sort of mixed-era human civilization, which is some mixture of modern, medieval and late 1800s/early 1900s as far as fashion and technology. they would be uncommon to see by the humans, but some of the forest cats see them regularly and have a peaceful relationship with them

I imagine them living in loosely structured groups- some of them coalesced around ‘noble’ families with complicated dynastic politics, and some of them noping out of all that nonsense and choosing to live alone. Pretty generic magical forest setting, I think- big big trees and very pretty smooth ponds and the like.

i think fables would live in a world without humans, more magical, and a wide range of species. they would be the most dominant species, very intelligent, with traditions and societies, families and herds. the world would be vast, different climates and biomes, but mostly forests, plains, and mountains.

answer: I think of them as creatures that would like in forests and grassy hills, in a world of only animals and other normal and fairytale like creatures. Maybe they have magical powers that they use to hide from would be predators? If there are any.

answer: I picture them as often solitary, Though family groups can last a long time and some keep a partner for life. I have a personal little world in my head that's more medieval and magic so mine would mostly be existing there. Some choose to take portals to jump to other planes of existence, causing 'unicorn' sightings in medieval times. Strikingly curious so they often cause weird sighting and trouble with mages as they are attracted to magic areas.
