Egg Stage
Ooooh, something about this egg makes me think of clear night skies and the unexplored expanses of space...

Dracoling Stage
Wow! Look at this lovely little dracoling. The swirling colors make me think of aurora borealis...

Goodness, the little dracoling grew up to be this brilliantly gorgeous dracone! Just how high do you think they can fly? I imagine they could play amongst the stars if they wanted...

Here's your runner up! I'm excited to reveal the dracoling tomorrow and then the dracone later! :D

Prompt: The minscule culmination of scarcely hardened scales binding that of the unborn dragon's form stirred subtly within the voided expanse of a world unto itself, the distinctive rhymthic hum of a steadying beat given voice upon the core of ligature tissue binding the dragon's heart and sputtering forth a crude symphony of life not quite unveiled to the unions of bladed viridescent poised beneath the egg itself, a canvas of nascent consciousness spurred upon the dragon's mind in tapestries of sown thought - thought of which strove incomprehensibly spewn whispers atop staccato breath, coalesce of droplets torn asunder by flesh-bound wings, honed talons gracing the earth in a tender seldom of them; all of which have been and will become.
Extras?: I diverted from my typical style of writing as an experiment, therefore, I apologize if it doesn't quite work.

Such a cool name! And I love your answer, especially when looking at that cute little face, thinking about them spacing out into abstract, depthless thought makes me smile. ^^ Will add these details immediately. ^^

I'm happy to announce that your dracoling has grown to adulthood! Hope you enjoy them. I'm really pretty pleased with this design. ^^

Edit: Oh! and I'll add the egg and dracoling stages to the main post later today. ^^

I was right to assume Xoteus would be gorgeous prior to their hatching, as I am very pleased with their design - of which is faintly akin to a mandarinfish - and will certainly be enjoying them within my story. Thank you.

Oh wow! I hadn't even realized, but it really does have a design like a mandarin fish x3 I meant for it more to be like the northern lights but either way, I'm go glad you like the final design and I hope you have a lot of fun with them. ^^
