What a pretty little Longneck this is!
This sweet girl is as a gentle as the come, and looking for a loving home to call her own. Unlike many other Longnecks, she was born into the city and picked up as a "stray" in an unfortunate mix up. Now, in an attempt to hurry up her adoption process, she gets dressed in her bows everyday in hopes of finding the right person to call her own.
While her time in the shelter has not been all bad, and she has made many other animal friends, she is very excited for the right adopter to come along and give her the life she dreams of! Could this be you?

Longneck Name: Mimie Marie
Longneck Pronouns: She/Her
Tell Us About/Show Us Her Best Friend: Upon arriving at the shelter, Mimie Marie found herself alone in her kennel. She was quite miserable and remained curled up in a little ball. All she could think about were different ways to get out and get back into a warm, loving home. Eventually, one of the shelter workers comes into the room, holding a small bundle in his arms. He leans down to open the kennel and places the blanketed ball down inside. Mimie backs up into the corner, unsure of what could possibly be buried underneath. "This little critter is going to be your roommate for now." The worker watches her, ensuring she doesn't react badly to the news. The bundle wriggles around until... a tiny fuzzball appears from between the folds! Mimie gets closer to inspect it when he realizes it's a baby or just really, really small. It has soft, almost white light pink fur and many tufts are sticking out in every direction. The little ears or possibly horns are rounded yet sharp looking on such a minuscule creature. On its back and the beginning of its tail are small, flightless wings with newly sprouted feathers. The tail is long and is curled around its body, the tip of it is shaped like a heart. But what catches Mimie's attention are those great big eyes it has! The worker smiles and is pleased to see the Longneck being curious rather than upset. He leaves them be, letting the two get to know each other. Mimie sniffs at it and it makes a cute sound. It seems excited to see her! It sits upright and sifts through the blanket and over to her. Before she could move or even realize it, the tiny one was already cuddled up against her soft fur. It lets out a purr and chirps a few times. Mimie was instantly moved by how cuddly it was.
Throughout her stay at the shelter, Mimie didn't feel as worried or sad as she thought she would be now that she had a new best friend to keep her company. As the little one was still too young to speak, she gave it a name, Sweetie Pea. With all the noises it made, she figured something it could squeak and repeat somewhat back to her wouldn't be too bad of an idea. Sweetie Pea, often either Sweetie or simply Pea, let out loud and happy chirps that mimicked the 'pea' sound a whole bunch. Over these few days, Mimie and Sweetie spent their days cuddling, chirping and vocalizing about anything and everything, and just relaxing together. One of their favorite activities was dress up. Mimie would grab her bows and stick them on Sweetie's unruly fur. Sweetie's favorite spot for the bows was on the neck, it was made Sweetie feel extra adorable. So, Mimie let it have it have the biggest bow she had. In return, she got a great big cuddle and the happiest chirps she's heard yet! Whenever the shelter workers walked passed and heard all the cute little noises, none could deny how adorable it was. It was clear, who ever was interested in one definitely had to adopt the other too.
Hope the prompt + picture is okay! Sorry in advance if it's difficult to read or strangely written, I didn't get any sleep earlier lol Thank you for the chance! :>
