Jules!
Jules can be a bit frightful and feel quite anxious and stressed under pressure or uncontrolled situations, but fortunately for him, Adonis has learnt how to deal with it and help their friend to carry on and be able to continue despite the situation: they grab the small monkey plush Jules has always had since he is pup and bring it to him! This way, Jules gently grabs the plushie while Adonis talk with him, helping him breath slower and calm down.

Name: Jadia
Gender: Female
Prompt: She is usually the one to help out the older lady that lives at the stables. She walks with a cane most times, so Jadia will go over and stand on her other side to help make sure she keeps her balance. Jadia will also pick up any small bag the lady asks her to carry for her. It makes her so happy to help this sweet, older lady. ^_^ It doesn't hurt that she also keeps treats in her pockets though.

Name: CoR's A Little Piece of Light "Eiridessa"
Gender: Female
Prompt: (featuring Eiri's closest friend, Ranger!)
The first light of dawn crept over the farm and I stirred from my spot beneath the old oak tree. The morning air was crisp, carrying the scent of dew-covered grass and earth. I stretched, feeling the familiar pull of muscles waking up, and shook out my fur. The day was beginning, and I had work to do.
My first task was always the same—finding Ranger. He was my best friend, my partner in everything we did on the farm. Without him, the place just wouldn’t feel right. But Ranger needed me in a way that the other dogs didn’t. He was completely blind, and it was up to me to guide him.
I trotted over to the barn, where I knew Ranger would be waiting. Sure enough, he was there, lying in the spot he always did, his black and white fur blending with the shadows. His ears twitched as he heard my approach and I let out a soft whine to let him know it was me. He lifted his head, the tension in his body easing.
I nuzzled his neck gently, a signal that it was time to get moving. Ranger stood, his movements careful and deliberate. I barked, a quick sound that told him to follow me. He did, as he always did, trusting in my voice to lead him safely.
As we headed towards the pasture, I kept up a soft hum, a tune that wove through the morning air. It was something I did instinctively, a way of letting Ranger know where I was without overwhelming him with noise. He moved beside me with confidence, his light blue-gray eyes focused on nothing but listening intently to my cues.
The sheep were scattered across the field, grazing peacefully in the early light. I barked twice, sharp and clear, to start our work. Ranger turned his head towards the sound, understanding the command, and moved to his position. I watched him, proud of how well we worked together. Even without sight, Ranger was an incredible herder, and I made sure to guide him just right.
We began the familiar routine, me leading with a series of barks and howls and Ranger responding perfectly to each one. A high-pitched yip had him circling to the left, rounding up a group of straying sheep. A long, low howl meant he should slow down and keep the flock in line. We moved in harmony, like a song with no words, just the rhythm of our voices and the movements of the herd.
As the morning wore on, the sky began to change. Dark clouds rolled in from the horizon, heavy and threatening. I paused, my ears pricking up at the distant rumble of thunder. Ranger stopped too, sensing the shift in the air. I let out a concerned whine and he turned his head towards me, waiting for my guidance.
The wind picked up, rustling the leaves and making the sheep uneasy. We needed to get them back to the barn before the storm hit, and I knew Ranger would be nervous in the chaos. I stayed close to him, pressing my side against his to reassure him. Then, I barked sharply, signaling for him to follow me. I could feel his hesitation, but I kept my voice steady, humming a tune as we moved to keep him calm.
The rain started to fall, light at first but quickly growing heavier. The sheep bleated in confusion, some of them starting to scatter. I barked again, louder this time, and dashed around the pasture, herding them back together. Ranger held his ground, ears swiveling as he listened to the chaos around him. I howled a long note, telling him to stay put until I had the flock under control.
It took some effort, but eventually, I got all the sheep moving in the right direction. I returned to Ranger’s side, and he leaned into me, his trust in me unwavering despite the storm raging around us. I guided him towards the barn, keeping my voice low and steady, a constant presence for him to follow.
Inside the barn, it was warm and dry, the storm shut out by the thick wooden walls. We settled down in a bed of hay, the sound of the rain drumming on the roof above us. I curled up next to Ranger, resting my head on his shoulder. He sighed deeply, his body finally relaxing as the tension of the storm faded away.
As sleep came to us, I continued to hum softly. Ranger listened, his breathing slowing as he drifted off. I knew he couldn’t see the world around us, but with me beside him, he didn’t need to. My voice was his guide, his comfort in the dark.
The storm gradually passed and the sun eventually broke through the clouds, casting a warm, golden light over the farm. I stood up, shaking the hay from my fur, and gave a cheerful bark. Ranger stirred, his ears perking up at the sound. I let out a playful howl, letting him know the storm was over and it was time to get back to work.
He rose to his feet, ready to follow me wherever I led. And as we stepped out into the bright, sunlit day, I knew that no matter what challenges we faced, we’d always face them together. The farm was our world, and as long as I had my voice and Ranger had his trust, we could conquer anything.
just won a collie in the bluey event, good luck everyone! ♥
