Leopardfang had probably the hardest secret to keep in the clan. He knew what happened to Tawnystar's twolegs. It was a secret he would probably take to his grave. I mean, how would anyone feel if they were told what actually happened to the ones they loved most in the world? How would Tawnystar feel if he knew Leopardfang was the reason her twolegs he thought so highly of, died?
He was around three when it happened. To start, he was born and raised on the streets. He'd never been inside a twoleg's house before, nor had he been in any clan. And that was perfectly fine. For a while, that is.
He was on his way to cross a road from a grassy area to a twoleg's yard to steal some of their chickens. He'd stayed more on the rural side of town, mainly because of all the animals he could rustle up and some he could catch. He was taking his time walking over until a loud honk, much louder than a duck's or goose's sounded from the side of him. He yowled in surprise, leapt into the air, and dashed across the rest of the road. There were several more of those loud honks. He turned around when he got to the front yard of the house he was originally going to take the chicken from.
He watched as several twolegs got out of their monsters, starting to yell and scream at the other twolegs by them. He clambered up on top of one of the monsters, slipping slightly as his claws didn't provide much grip on the sleek metal. He made it to the hood of the monster and peered his head at the twolegs and other monsters. He saw three twolegs trying to pull two other twolegged creatures out of a flipped over monster.
He gently hopped down from the monster he was sitting on, his tail swishing as he walked slowly over to the flipped over monster to investigate. He sniffed around before a foot started shooing him away. He hissed a little, the fur sticking up on his back as he kept trying to look at the situation. He yowled as more frantic honks came from behind him along with flashing lights. He watched as more twolegs rushed out of two other monsters with weird-looking nests. He skittered up into the monster, wanting to know more of what was going on. He stayed out of sight, though the smell of the monster was intense.
About a year after he'd been there when the twolegs were buried, he was in a clan with other cats. He was listening to a story that Tawnystar was telling everyone about. A story about her and her twolegs. As he described what the twolegs looked like, Leopardfang realized that the description was just like the twolegs he had watched be buried. He knew what everyone would think if he spoke up about what happened to Tawnystar's twolegs. He finally found cats who appreciated him and loved him, and he didn't want to lose it. So... he kept quiet.
