Welcome to the hatchery! This is where your lovely moo moos can find love, and bring new life to the world. Cloud cows are unusual in that they lay eggs! These eggs take a while to hatch but next thing you know you'll have another lovely little cow flying on your farm!

The hatchery opens seasonally, once in February and once again in November

×Cooldown for a solo breeding is two weeks. Cooldown for multiple users breeding is one week each
x Breedings are two calves each, unless items used
x Eggs hatch after 2 weeks, staff should finish adult forms before growth time is up, preferably before posting the eggs
x When artists dont specify, users can specify which lines they prefer for grown forms - all except eggs can breed
x No inbreeding allowed, please check that your cattle arent related before posting a form

x Each Cow may have 8 calves maximum

Markings/Bases
Artists are up to make the eggs/calves as they like, based as loosely as they like off of the parents within reason. They don't have to match any specific breeds but are free to have bases written/made up if you like!

Common traits
Pass at 30% to calves. 50% when both parents

Unedited Avines that fall outside of basic, do not need to be based off real life species
Can have the following traits:
Bovine type horn edits (smaller/larger)
Larger wings - up to 20%
Hair Tuft edits
Slight edits to fur/tail, no more than 10%
Smaller wings/chibi wings
Ear tag can be modified to a different accessory, but number must be easily visible

Uncommon traits - Artists can use 1 uncommon trait in every 10 or so normal adopts
Pass at 15% to calves. 30% when both parents

Any non bovine horns
Mammalian tails
Bird tails
Extra eyes
Extra ears
Minor plant growth


Rare traits
Pass at 5%, 10% when both parents
Bat wings
Multiple sets of wings
Non-avian or mammalian tails
Extra limbs (other than eyes and ears)
Glass/terranium limbs or parts (up to 30% of body)
Large plant growth

Very rare traits
To be discovered. 2% chance to pass regardless of how many parents

Staff may open nursery slots as they like/can handle. Please post on the discord asking for help if you arent able to complete a litter within 3 weeks of it being posted!

Wild cloud cows seem to fly in from time to time! Untamed, and unowned they lack tags.

As a grand opening event for now all studs are free to use! Each user may use each stud once. This may be changing in the future
Just copy the image and stud letter as a second parent in your form!
