Prompt;; The real reason why all the emperor penguins huddle up over the winter is they're making scrums ready to play the largest game of rugby against the bats (who also huddle together in rugby scrums). The thing is, the bats can't see very far so every year when they fly over to get ready to play rugby, the bats get lost. Because the bats have never arrived on time, neither side has yet to see how unsuited either of them are for rugby... But it'll be very funny to watch the first time the bats show up on time.
The agreed battleground for the rugby is, of course, the south pole, because the penguins are unwilling to play on grass where they might get their suits muddy.
