Pronouns: she/her
Prompt:
Often times when Mimikyu introduces Sadie to older pokemon, they can’t help fawning over what an adorable little furball she is. They stuff her bag absolutely full with treats, come up with cute little nicknames to call her, give her biiiig hugs and tell her what a well-behaved kid she is, every time they see they young chespin smile at them.
At first Mimi (Mimi is the nickname Sadie gave to Mimikyu and now everyone calls them that) when she was younger tried to gently warn them to keep an eye on her at all times and not to coddle her too much, but the others never listened to them, despite the fact, that they are her sole caretaker and should know what she is actually like. They never believe the fact, that Sadies is in fact, a mischievous little rascal when left unattended.
Oh, what you’re saying? That her huge, beady eyes are full of childlike innocence? Don’t let her cheerfulness and fluffiness fool you!! Let me tell you a story. Well, scratch that, let me tell you two stories, since one just doesn’t do her justice.
Story #1 The bandits of the West WoodsOne time, when Mimi took her into the nearby forest for a walk and she befriended a Teddiursa. The two kids had a blast, playing all day, but when it was time to leave, Sadie and her new friend was nowhere to be found.
As it turns out, the duo, not wanting the fun to end, has decided to run away from the adults and live as bandits in the woods. Well, Mimi and the increasingly furious, six feet tall mama bear weren’t too ecstatic about their children’s newfound lifestyle, to say the least.
After a couple of ours of frantic screaming and searching in the dark of night, they found the kiddos sitting on the tallest branch of a hundred-year-old oak tree, giggling loudly, as they were building their ‘base’ (but like seriously, how did they scramble up that high with their tiny paws!?). It took them another good thirty minutes to get the little rascals down (but like seriously, how did they even climb up that high with their tiny little paws in the first place!?).
Obviously, saying good-bye wasn’t an easy task, both of them crying loudly for minutes on end about how they are best friends and will definitely, pinkie-promise keep in touch. This was six months ago, they haven’t even met once since then, nor have they expressed any interest in reaching out.
Story #2 Danger in the treesOne day Sadie was sent home early from preschool, screaming loudly, with a bruise on her forehead. After questioning what happened with the teachers, Mimi was shocked to find out, that Sadie was anything but a victim.
s it turns out, the whole thing started when she and couple of her friend climbed up a tree (yes, she loves to climb trees if you haven’t guessed by now) and Sadie came up with the genius idea to throw spiky chestnuts at everyone who passed by, laughing at the different noises their victims made, when a throw landed straight onto their head.
Well, after an afternoon of tormenting her poor classmates, eventually, one of the kids had enough of their antics and decided to retaliate. And he so happened to be a machop, so when a now opened, chestnut came flying her was, Sadie wasn’t only shocked to get a taste of her own medicine, but has also gained a painful lump on her forehead.
But instead of bursting into tears, as you would usually expect from a small child like her, it only filled her with anger and soon, half the class found themselves in the middle of an all-out chestnut war. All the yowling finally attracted the teachers’ attention and the fight was put rest shortly afterwards.
Obviously, they found out Sadie was the ringleader of this whole ordeal, so they called for Mimikyu. When Sadie found out the was getting sent home early and thus missing out on Muffin Monday, she started sobbing uncontrollably.
In conclusion...Does all of this mean that Sadie is a bad, malicious kid? Of course not! She’s a rowdy 5 years old, who doesn’t realize the weight of her actions yet. She’s super smart and creative for her age and needs a lot of stimulation to keep her on the right track and when she doesn’t get that, she comes up with stuff likes this and drives poor Mimi crazy.
