It brought back memories of looking through kaleidoscopes as a kid and seeing the crazy patterns, so I thought it a fitting name for this fun marking.

Cryptoveil- it’s kinda a combination of the scientific theory of natural camouflage and the word veil which means to hide. When I first saw this adorable pattern all I could think of was camouflage and blending into forest or steppe based surroundings! I thought it was a cute and may be a little bit cheesy name for the adorable piebald patterns that can help certain animals truly camouflage themselves occasionally!
