Welcome to the dojo. Here you can use your Pokémon to level up and gain rewards! Just like in the Pokémon games, you will send out your Pokémon against an opposing Pokémon, and then see the results. Optionally you may roleplay this out, but for the most part, all you need to do is send out your Pokémon, using the provided form, and someone will respond with the results using the provided calculator. You will then continue the fight till one of you loses.
- 1. First make sure your Pokémon is set up properly with the "I Choose You!" form. This will need Species, Lvl, Ability, Nature, Held Item, and most importantly move-set. You can find all of the available info on Bulbapedia, or Serebii. Only one Pokémon can be sent to the Dojo at a time.
2. After posting, a writer will reply with an encounter. The pokemon you encounter will be of similar or lower level to yours. You will then reply with the 'Response' form. Linking your 'I choose you form' and the writers reply, as well as the move from your moveset you wish to use against the encounter. You may add any additional text, a story if you will, but is completely optional and will only affect your xp.
3. A writer, maybe the same one, but not always, will reply with how well that move did, and how the enemy Pokémon will respond to the move. The will reciprocate any 'story' with whatever they desire as they will also get rewards for participating same as you. They will also update you with the health of your pokemon. You will continue this step till you choose to switch pokemon, or one of the pokemon faint from the battle.
- ❦ The chosen pokemon must be an approved Embrace Adopt to participate
❦ All Pokémon start at lvl.5, please make sure all info reflects this.
❦ Please keep your 'I choose you' form updated with the proper level info.
❦ Pokemon cannot evolve via the Dojo. If you wish to evolve, buy the proper item at the Shop and go to the Evolution page to do so.
❦ held items can only be bought at the Shop. Please make sure to link proof so that uses may be properly archived.

Note you may edit your form however you like as long as all the info is there and is readable.
Form Guidelines & info
- ❦ You must provide a link to the Oekaki page, or Adopt post for off-oekaki adopts, in the form.
❦ Move sets can only be level based on the newest game the Pokémon appears in. No TM, breed, or tutor moves unless you bought an item at the store that provides it, in which you will need to link to proof.
❦ All Dojo posts are important to keep track of your Pokémon's progress.
❦ When Changing Pokémon, you will need to post a new "I Choose you!" form. Dojo Posts stay with the Pokémon you sent them out with, so switching Pokémon will reset this for any new Pokémon you send out. However it does not erase the damage done to that Pokémon. Only leveling up, or using an item, or waiting a full day with another Pokémon out will reset it's health.
❦ You cannot change the info of your Pokémon without staff permission. Writers will let you know you can update the move pool when leveling up and so on.
