Prompt: His favorite, and one that he recommends to all of his friends is the Hyacinth. They don't bloom for very long but they are the best smelling flower for any stage of gardener to grow. When spring comes around and before any of the vegetables have grown, Miles can be found taking afternoon siestas in the Hyacinth patch - nose firming pressed against his favorite flower as he naps.

The biggest reason these are his favorite is the smell and variety of colors! It's also fitting that they only last a little while each year, so it's a sweet welcome to spring.

Etna is really passionate about the garden, and not even necessarily because of the various growing plants themselves. Etna's favorite pasttime is to stalk between the crops looking for intruders into her little patch of greens and chase away anything that may harm the plants. If she did have to pick one plant however it might very well be the sunflowers. Etna can regularly be seen dragging her pillow into the garden to lay in the shade of the tall sunflowers at the very back border of the garden.

Prompt: Catnip! Hecate has always preferred cats to other dogs, though, unfortunately, that feeling wasnt mutual. One day while out and about, she spotted a bunch of cats hanging out by a patch of plants. They seemed absolutely obsessed with these plants and so she decided to check them out after the cats had left. Upon further inspection she knew exactly what these plants were - catnip! She came up with a plan and that night, she dug up all the catnip and carried it over to her own garden. She spent the night replanting them and by the next day the cats have started popping up around her. They still seemed slightly suspicious of her, but little by little they started to relax, and would sometimes even play with her! Hecate made it her mission to care for the catnip plants and she would often sit in the garden and watch as the cats lounged in the sun, enjoying the effects of the catnip.
She had finally found a way to connect with the cats and to provide something that brought them all joy!

While milkweed might not sound very exciting, it has lovely little blooms and - most importantly - a major impact on monarch butterflies! Milkweed is an incredibly important source of food and shelter for monarchs of all stages, as they will consume the leaves as caterpillars, form their cocoons on the stalks, and even sip nectar from the flowers once they transform into butterflies. Monarch butterflies were declared as an endangered species in July of 2022 due to pesticides being used on milkweed and other plants, and one of the best ways to help their population is to plant milkweed in your garden (and avoid using pesticides on it!). Prompt: Krueger's favorite thing to grow in his garden is sunflowers! This is because...well...this is the only thing that he's been able to keep alive. Krueger, despite his love for it, is actually terrible at gardening although he refuses to admit it. He was given some sunflower seeds a couple months ago after it was becoming more and more obvious that he was becoming discouraged and depressed, since they're almost impossible to ruin and basically grow themselves. Ever since his love for gardening has been re-sparked and he's happier than he's ever been. Every morning as the sun rises Krueger meanders through his sunflower garden sniffing each flower and pruning their leaves, petals, and stems.
