Welcome to The International Schönen Spitz Club (ISSC). The newly recognized breed has been
around long before official classification but was known by many other common names,
including but not limited to; Swiss Huskies, Alpine Sled Dogs, and "Schöns".
Considered a primitive breed, these dogs are independent and hardworking companions
who excel at weight pulling, sledding, and livestock protection
