Jack's childhood was a strange thing, really. He never knew any others of his kind, not his siblings and not his parents. If you asked him where he came from, his reply would change every time. Sometimes he would say magic, sometimes he would say love, other times he would just wiggle his paws and say chaos! The truth of it, though, was that he was found by a storkatten by the name of Haela. Haela instantly took him in, ensuring that he knew in her she would have family, a protector, and a friend.
He was not the only smaller one she took in over the years, in fact there came to be many companions. Some of these would stay around and play with him, teach him, as well as simply be there for him. Some were only there until they healed, and would move on to whatever might come next in their lives. He sought to befriend and learn from all of them, wishing to be the best he could be and one day protect Haela like she protected him. He wanted to do his part, and prove he was strong too.
In this way, he grew up knowing nothing about his own kind, not did he care to. He saw himself as a storkatten too, Haela's son, and he never wished it any other way. He did not care to find others like him, where he had really come from, or his original home. Haela's home was his home, she was his parent, his family, and... why should he want for anything else? Why should he look for something he never knew?
