Perla wanted to master her magic as best as she could. Neither of her parents were that magically inclined something that lead to their demise when under attack. Ever since their deaths Perla had been training her magic as much as possible.

Outside of working on her abilities at casting magical barriers, Perla was focusing her magic into deviation and related studies. If she had the ability to know what was coming, then maybe she would also be able to stop the bad.
