Name meaning: After the Aurora Borealis aka the Northern Lights. His nickname; Boris is of Slavic origin meaning "to fight".

Gender: Stallion.

Personality: Kind, empathetic, headstrong and protective yet patient and understanding. Boris takes good care of his herd protecting all who is under his care. However he doesn't entirely agree with how the half breeds or other horses who have more then one element are being treated. Secretly he tries to help them and has yet to chase off any unusual looking foals from his herd. Maybe he will try to help the alicorns regain their rightful role as leaders of the herds, even if that means he'd have to step down from his current role? Only time will tell.
